Jeff's P.O.V

Someone actually found her. They know where she is now. Or at least this guy does. I know she's not gonna let me kill him. But I can't let him leave either or I'm losing everything I have. Right when it's mine.

I heard her sigh as she saw the boy on the floor. He was blonde with fluffy kinda hair. Like one of those bed head kinda looks. Black jacket. Black shirt with some band on it. Black jeans. Douchey kinda look. Fits him.

"How'd he even find you."

"He's persistent."

I bent down and flipped him over. His face already bruising. Seeing this guy kinda helps me question what kinda girl Lex was.

"Why'd ya break up?"

"Reasons that no longer matter."

She sounded annoyed but that never stops me.

"He cheat? Anything I need to slit his throat for."

"Jeff."

"Did you almost suffocate from his over usage of axe body spray?"

"Jeff." I heard the smile in her voice that time.

"Lexi."

I stood up and looked down at her while lightly smiling. She stood up on her tippy toes and connected her lips to mine. I think it was a reassuring kiss of "I'm yours not his,so don't worry about it." I of course kissed back placing my hand under her chin and holding it lightly. Her lips are always so warm and soft and its so hard to remember we aren't the only two people in the world. Right when I was about to slip my tongue in her mouth, I felt something yank at my leg causing me to fall against the door that was still open.

I looked down and saw this blonde stranger stand up. Just about my same height. He swung and punched me back in the face and I'm not gonna lie it hurt. I groaned and pressed myself against the door.

"DON'T. TOUCH. HER." For a weak looking dude he's got a loud voice.

I saw an arm pull him back as far away from me as possible, and I saw Lex come from behind him and walk over to me and press her hand against my chest because she knew I was about to yank this guy's head off.

"Lex. Who is this guy." He said breathing kinda heavy from across the room.

"Jeff. Meet Colby. Colby. Jeff."

I tried pushing myself off the wall but was just put right back in my place by Lex. I wasn't calm and she knew that.

"Guys. Both of you calm the hell down."

Me and this Colby asshole were just glaring at each other. Me still trying to push myself up, wriggling under Lexs hand but she wouldn't let me loose. Then the fucker smirked.

"WHAT ARE YOU SMILING AT DUDE."

"You're just not too pretty."

"COME CLOSER AND SAY TH-"

"GUYS SHUT UP" Lexi almost screamed. Both our eyes were on her now.

My breathing gradually went back to normal. For her sake.

"Can we all just. Calm ourselves for a bit?"

She turned her eyes to Colby.

"How'd you find me?"

"Your parents gave up yesterday and I couldn't just have you gone. You know I wouldn't just have that."

I saw the look on her face go from frustrated to hurt. Her parents gave up? She's only been gone two weeks.

"I'm sorry Alexia." He said with a sigh.

"Don't worry about it...I expected that anyway." She said while nodding. But the hurt in her voice was still evident.

"Are you the only person looking." I said looking up at him.

"Yeah," He looked back up at me. Face going from apologetic to annoyed again. "Everyone thought she ran away at first. But after the first 4 days without a call, I knew that wasn't it."

I looked back down at the girl in my chest, and tears were coming down her cheeks. Now that I've thought about it, I know nothing about her outside life. Nothing about her friends, her family. I knew I was hiding something but what is she hiding.
