Hana begins to spend much of her time at school and at the gym. Naturally, Woojin is almost always by her side. In class, they spend much of their free time discussing plans for their class and contributing ideas to the student council; after school, they attend meetings together; at the gym, Woojin is Hana's trainer for each session; and, of course, they live together for the time being, so they walk home together. For a whole week Woojin is the first person Hana sees in the morning, and the last person she sees when she heads to bed. She can't argue that it isn't a situation that she hates, because she most absolutely likes it. In fact, Hana thinks that she's almost starting to take it all for granted: Woojin's kindness and hospitality, the fact that Hana is able to see Woojin for nearly all hours that she spends awake, growing closer as friends to possibly something more as they begin to be more comfortable around each other and embark on late night ice cream runs.

As Saturday approaches, although Hana is extremely relieved to be seeing her house soon back in shape, she can't help but also feel a bit saddened. She just can't believe how close she and Woojin have grown in just a week. Maybe it's because they've been spending so much time together, but it's not like they rarely saw each other before the incident with her house happened. Hana thinks it could be because they finally acknowledged their feelings for each other, but she can't help but worry that she's about to lose all that she's built with him. Even if she didn't like him romantically, she admits that Woojin is a fun person to be around once she'd broken through his front.

"What are you thinking about?" Youngmin asks as he slides into the seat next to her, leaning in to steal the chicken popper that was pierced on her fork. Hana glares at him despite her hot cheeks and stabs another chicken popper, quickly placing it into her mouth before Youngmin could mooch off her again.

"You already know. Why do you even ask?" She replies and notices Youngmin stares longingly at her unopened carton of chocolate milk. Hana sighs, reluctantly handing it over. He smiles brightly. "It makes me feel less guilty about intruding in on your thoughts."

"Where are the other boys?" Hana looks around the cafeteria, trying to change the subject.

Youngmin sips from the straw, shrugging. "I think Woojin is helping Mr. Kim with something, and Donghyun and Daehwi are probably in line."

Hana hums. "You should go join them so you don't end up eating all of my food."

"It's okay, I'll just steal some of their food when they come." He grins, earning himself a smack to the arm. Youngmin frowns and slips the straw back into his mouth. "Hana," he starts, "you don't have to worry about you and Woojin. It's not really my place to say this, but I'm suffering as I watch this slow-burn unravel so I will anyway. You like Woojin. Woojin likes you. The kid hardly ever shares his feelings because he's been trained not to for so long now, but he's getting better at it. He's trying really hard because he's doing it for you, you know? You're precious to him."

Hana stares at her tray, trying to understand Youngmin. "And how do you know that?" She asks quietly.

"I can read minds, remember?" Youngmin smiles, leaning back in his chair. "But don't validate your relationship because of me, that's cheating. There's nothing better than hearing it yourself from him. It might take some time, but wouldn't it be worth it?"

She narrows her eyes at the boy, knocking on his head "Where's all this coming from all of a sudden? You never sound this wise."

Youngmin leans in to whisper, "It's the milk."

Hana sighs and rolls her eyes. "I should have known."

Donghyun lets out a groan just as the bell rings, slumping forward and planting his face into his desk.

"Thank God it's Friday?" Hana offers, stretching her arms above her head. Donghyun nods. "I'm looking forward to seeing your house in one piece again." He turns his head to grin at her. "I'll also be able to sleep better at night knowing you and Woojin won't be spending nights in the same house anymore."

"Oh, shut up, Donghyun." Hana blushes, looking over at Woojin. She smiles softly at the rare relaxed and boyish expressions he makes as he playfully bickers with Daehwi. When he notices her stare, she quickly drops her eyes, reaching for her backpack on the floor next to her. "We should hurry and head to the gym. You're training with me today, right?"

Donghyun shakes his head. "Nah, something came up with my parents and Youngmin's coming with. Woojin's going with you today instead."

"I thought he was busy, that's why you were coming."

He stands while throwing his backpack over his shoulder. "Woojin's never too busy for you." He clicks his tongue and winks. "Gotta blast. See you tomorrow."

Hana laughs, waving at him as he leaves the classroom, Youngmin following suit. Most of her classmates have cleared out by now, especially since it's a Friday afternoon, but Woojin and Daehwi continue to argue, making their way over to Hana and only stop once they reach her desk. "Ready to go, Hana?" Woojin smiles.

Daehwi looks between the two and makes retching sounds. "You guys are incredibly soft. I'm gonna leave first. Bye!"

Woojin leans against the desk, staring out the window as he waits for Hana to finish packing her bag. Hana isn't going to lie that it takes a little longer than it should because she keeps stealing glances at Woojin's side profile. She zips her backpack shut and stands, slipped her thumbs into the loops of her backpack straps. "I'm ready to go." She announces, poking his arm. He turns his head to face her and smiles again. "Let's go."

Shortly after, Woojin and Hana leave the building. They walk slowly toward the private gym, taking turns kicking a pebble between them. "How are you feeling about tomorrow?" Woojin suddenly asks.

"Huh?" Hana looks up at him, a bit confused before she processes the question. "Ah, about my house? Relieved, of course. Your friend has saved me from a ton of explaining I'd have to do to my parents."

"Just relieved?" Woojin asks tentatively.

Hana looks at his curled hands that are soon shoved into his pockets, and his shaking eyes as they divert toward the ground. She laughs to herself as she remembers what Youngmin said, He's doing it for you. "Don't be so nervous, Park Woojin. I'll miss seeing your face for nearly twenty-four-seven."

Woojin licks his lips and clears his throat. "Baby steps." He excuses, suddenly picking up speed in his pace. Hana grins at his shyness and jogs to catch up, boldly slipping an arm around one of his. "We're getting there." She confirms.

hello! i hope you all spent your holidays with joy and had a happy new year! i first want to apologize for the late update, and also apologize for the constant filler chapters. i wanted to focus on hana and woojin's relationship a bit more before i return to the main plot, and as a result, the chapters are dragging on.

also! many of you have mentioned that the clumsy character i'm about to introduce remind you of RM/namjoon from bts! while i adore namjoon and bts, i didn't know that he was a clumsy person, so i'll clarify now (in case any of you were to be disappointed) that the character isn't namjoon, but another person who participated in produce 101 season 2! i hope you'll still look forward to the new character, and as always, thank you for still reading this mess of a fic and giving it love <3
