They eventually make it back to the hotel, sitting side by side one of the terrace's outdoor loveseats. Hana is terrified, refusing to let Woojin sit anywhere else but next to her. So here she sits, legs pulled up to her chest with her arms wrapped around her knees, the hood of Woojin's jacket drawn up over her head, and a regretful Woojin by her side.

"I should have never agreed to letting you go with me." He sighs quietly to himself, shaking his head and pinching his nose bridge in frustration.

"It doesn't matter anymore, it already happened. Now tell me, what the hell was that that we saw?" She wiggles around, angling herself toward him. She braces herself for whatever answer he's about to give her, wondering if she was recalling Donghyun's descriptions about his monsters or whatever from his horror story correctly, because they were frighteningly similar. Woojin stares at the table in front of them, avoiding Hana's eyes. "Why don't we wait till tomo-"

"No," She interjects, "I want to know now, not later."

"And if you pass out from shock?"

"I didn't when Hayoon scared me and I didn't when that monster was about to devour us so quit beating around the bush." Hana firmly asserts, giving his side a light kick.

Woojin tilts his head to glare at her, pushing her feet away from him as he says, "Fine. Shall I keep it simple?"

Hana nods.

"I'm a mage. I have telekinetic powers-"

"You're lying." Hana eyes him skeptically. Mages? In this world? How is that even real? Of all things, Hana wasn't expecting that. Mages belong in fantasy books, in alternate universes, not the real world.

"Didn't you see what happened to the demon? Who else would have done it? There was no one else around us." Woojin points out. It dawns on Hana that well, shit, he's right. There really was no one but them and the employee that was oblivious to what was going on outside. She supposed it was Woojin, because when he raised his hand, the demon moved with it.

After seeing that she wasn't going to respond, Woojin continues. "Donghyun, Youngmin, and Daehwi are also mages-"

"What?" She shouts, eyes wide open. She was shocked to say the least, but then after thinking about it, it made sense. The four transfered here together and they never hung out with anyone else but themselves. Maybe they were a special group or team of some sort. Woojin was providing answers, but only more questions arose.

"They are, but they don't have telekinetic powers-"

"Why don't they have any?" She frowns. The others were very worthy of a power like Woojin's.

Woojin glares at Hana again. "They have other powers. Now, stop interrupting me."

She nods, zipping her mouth shut and throwing away the key. Giving him a thumbs up, she lets him know that he can go on.

"We came here because we were assigned Eunbi's case. There's been an influx of demon activity around here lately, coming in irregular patterns. Eunbi wasn't kidnapped, nor did she run away. She left because a demon told her to." Woojin plays with his fingers nervously. "Look, I really don't know how much I can tell you. The more you know, the more likely you'll be in danger, so we should stop here."

Hana sits up straight, trying to stop him from leaving. "Then don't tell me about Eunbi. Tell me about you."

"We should wait till tomorrow." Woojin sits back in the seat, looking up at the night sky.

It's quiet for a few moments so she takes the time to try and process the information. The four are mages, all who have powers, here to crack the case of Eunbi's disappearance. There are demons that walk the town, unbeknownst to the citizens, probably waiting for their next chance to snatch another like Eunbi. Woojin has this crazy little crystal that creates a dome of sorts. For what? She didn't know. It was just another question being added to the growing list she was creating in her mind.

"This is crazy." She whispers, resting her chin on her knees. "It can't be real. There's no way." She looks up at Woojin. "Pinch me because I swear I'm dreaming right now. It's the only way it would make sense."

Woojin reaches over with his right hand, fingers pinching her left cheek hard. "Ow!" She cries, slapping his hand away and rubbing her sore skin.

He shrugs. "You asked me to pinch you." Then he gets up, smoothing down his shorts and heads toward the door. Hana springs to her feet, scrambling to catch up because she's afraid there could be a demon lurking around.

Woojin walks Hana to her hotel room, leaning against the wall as she fiddles with the card and the reader. As the door clicks open, she holds it to keep it still for a second, glancing up and down the hallway. "You're sure there aren't any here? Any already in my room? Any behind you? Down the hall around the corner?"

He nods, rolling his eyes and smiling. "Positive."

"And you'll tell me the rest tomorrow?"

"We'll see." Woojin says, nudging her in with a hand on her back.

"You said you would!" She whispers harshly, worried about waking up Hayoon.

"It's a busy day tomorrow, Hana." Woojin reminds her, and she hates that he's right. The next day is packed with activities for the class. "Go get some sleep, and if we have time tomorrow, we'll discuss it then. Goodnight." He pushes her into the room all the way, and quietly closes the door. Hana stares at the floor in front of her, sighing. With the excitement and curiosity wearing off, she began to realize how heavy her limbs felt and could feel her eyes drooping. Maybe he's right again. She should get some sleep first.
