Penny - Back To School

-Three Months Later bc time flies when you're having fun, I mean admittedly penny's been depressed but I'll get to that in my own time thank you very much damn this is a long header Nvm I'll stop talking :3-

My alarm goes off at 6:40, and I groan pushing it onto snooze mode. I roll over to try and sleep for a little longer, and as soon as my eyelids start shutting I'm blinded as Uncle Gadget throws open the curtains.

'Don't want to be late for the first day back at school!' he says happily and with waaay too much energy at this time in the morning. I yawn and get out of bed. He leaves the room, and Brain looks at me worriedly. That's all everyone's been doing lately, looking at me in concern. Not many people know what I've done, only Kayla, Chief, Brain and the security guards. I mean Dr. Claw obviously knows his nephew is dead, but MAD's been on hiatus recently. Probably just as well, I'm likely lacking in skills as I have been mopey recently - I killed my fucking crush what do you expect?

I pull on my HQ uniform, comb my hair and tie it into my usual pigtails. When I see my reflection in the mirror I sigh, I have massive black bags under my eyes and my hair has gone limp. I shove those nasty voices to the back of my head, grab a granola bar and leave to go to school

-25 Minutes Later-

'Should I even be attending school?' I ask Kayla as we push open the school gates. 'Why shouldn't you?' she replies in confusion. 'Oh, just cause I'm a murderer.' I say casually. She groans. 'You're not a murderer, I mean it's technically manslaughter but that's not the point.' I sigh and sit down at a picnic table, and Will joins us. 

'What's all this talk on murder and manslaughter?' he asks curiously, sitting down. Holy crap... if he didn't know he's gonna be so depressed when he finds out what I did to his brother... I look down sadly. 

'Penny killed Talon and she's really bummed.' Kayla says bluntly. Well yeah I'm bummed. I look at Will who doesn't seem to be shocked.

'Wait I'm dead?!' a familiar voice says, and I quickly match that voice to... TALON?!
