I watch Talon being interrogated by Chief Quimby again on the security cameras. Curse my gullibility, what was I thinking? I let Talon kidnap the President, and who knows what Claw is doing with him!

Well... at least we arrested Talon. I know I should be happy, but there's that voice at the back of my head telling me I did he wrong thing.

I zoom in on the camera and look at my crush. I have to double check to see if it's actually him!

His hair is lacking it's purple shine, and is flat against his head. I still think it's cute - I thought it looked cute since day one. I can see he doesn't like it though, because every few minutes he raises his cuffed hands and runs one through his hair. His eyes are sunken and there is massive black bags under them - probably from lack of decent sleep. They lack their signature mischievous glint, to sum it all up he looks downright defeated, and not at all the Talon I know and love. I mean—

I sigh and turn off the monitor, because what's done is done and I know that it's for the "greater good" that he's in there.

Monday's gonna be one hell of a day at school.

-meanwhile in the interrogation room ~ Talon's POV-

'You know Talon, it doesn't have to be like this.' Quimby tells me, slightly less aggressive than yesterday and the day before when I woke up with the worst headache in a stupid cell.

I simply scoff. 'It doesn't? Could've fooled me.' I glare. 'Dragging me into this room ever day, cuffing my wrists, trying to force me to answer your dumb questions?' I list on my fingers. 'Yeah. It definitely doesn't have to be like this.' I finish, snarling.

'I can see you haven't changed perspective.' He says coldly, and signals the two guards to take me back to the cell.

After they lock the door, I kay down and slowly drift off into an unsteady, nightmare-filled sleep.

-Next Day-

I swear I'm gonna lose my mind in here. I could probably escape, but what would my Uncle's reaction to being captured be? I shudder, replaying in my mind the fear, the immersion into freezing cold water and the pain caused by the shark tank. I can't stay here - but I can't go "home".

I sit down on the makeshift bed, head in my hands trying to push my Uncle's harsh voice out of my head. They really haven't made it easy for me to keep my sanity. Three stone walls, one barred wall with a door. A wooden bench, a rickety bed. A tiny barred window and absolutely nothing to do.
