The Fight

Max POV

When Mike came running towards us, he was really pale "Do you see a ghost or something" Dustin said sarcastically "Don't tell me that you saw a demogorgon" El said "let's go inside" Mike said. We all went inside and luckily we found a table. "Do you want to dance?" Lucas ask me "sure" I said. He grabs me by the hand and we start to dance.

El POV

Mike is acting really weird, he is just sitting at the table staring at Max with a death stare. "Wanna dance?" I ask him he then looks at me really slowly "No, I'm okay" he said in a cold voice "Forget about him, C'omon El let's dance" Dustin said pulling his hand out, I grab his hand and we start to dance. Though there was something about Mike's behavior that was really strange he's was like mad about something or someone.

Max POV

I really felt bad for Mike he was alone at that table, so I decided to ask him if he was okay, I sat next to him. "Are you okay" I ask him, he just stared at me with this angry/pissed off face but I didn't understand why. "Hey, why don't you join us dancing it would be fun" I said and try to give my brightest smile, he doesn't respond so I decided to grab his hand that was resting on his lap. "Don't touch me" Mike shouted "What's wrong with you" I said. At that moment he stood up "What's wrong with me, what's wrong with you I was actually going to apologize to you but why bother apologize to a-. I cut him off by saying "Stop Mike, I was trying to be nice" I said trying to stay calm "Nice are you serious , you know what's the problem with you that you and your family are- are like viruses that ruins peoples life" Mike said "Shut the fuck Wheeler you don't know anything about me or my family" I yelled. Everything just stopped, the music stopped and everyone dancing starred at us. "Yes I do, you are the worst mayfield because you just ruin people's life's and- I cut him out by saying "How the hell did I ruin you're life wheeler" "By joining the party, you know what you deserve be treated like shit because someone like you doesn't deserve better!!!!!" Mike yelled "And you know what I saw, I saw your brother kissing my mom" Mike said. At that moment everything was silent "I'm so-r-ry" I said "Save it Mayfield that's why you were born to do, to ruin people's life's" Mike said. I wanted to cry but I hold it. "Mike, stop!! Lucas said "I just want to say one last thing" Mike said "Shut up!!" Dustin said "No, let him"I said even though my eyes were getting watery. "You don't know how much I hate you, I wish that you just disappear or even died!!!" He yelled I couldn't hold it any longer and a tear falls out I quickly whipped it from my face and said "You know what Wheeler that's what I'm going to do disappear from your life, because no matter how hard I try... I would never be good enough for you" I grabbed my skateboard and I started to run until I got out of Mike Wheeler's sight.

Mike POV

Max grabs her skateboard that was resting on El chair and like that she zoom away of my sight. Lucas punch me in the face "That's what you get for being an asshole and by the way, I'm out" he starts to grab his stuff and leaves. "I hope you're happy cause I'm out too, how does it feels to be a complete asshole" Dustin said and leaves. "Are you mad too?" I asked El "No, I'm just disappointed, you know that was a mouth breather thing to do" she said "Yes I know, I was so mad that I- " I was cut off by El, that said "Look, I know that what you saw wasn't easy but Max was the least guilty in this situation". "At least try fix it" she said "I don't know where she is" "I know" she said "Where?" I asked "She's on a bench outside of school".

Max POV

I stop running when I see a bench and I decided to sit down and I start to cry thinking about what happened, everyone at school would hate me now and it's all because of my stupid stepbrother. "Everything was going so well..." I said out loud. Then I heard a voice behind me that said "Shhh princess don't cry". For a second I thought it was Mike but soon realized that it wasn't him because of his voice. When I turned around there were three guys and one of the had a huge potato sack. I got scared so I started to run away but one of them grabbed me so I tried to escape but it was impossible because he were too strong. The last thing I remember was that they put a cloth in my nose and mouth and after that I don't remember what happened next, everything just went black.

Mike POV

I went outside to look for max, I was so nervous to apologize to her because I said really horrible things to her. I felt like a monster, I shouldn't have been mad at her, like El said it wasn't even her fault. I saw the bench were El told me she was supposed to be, but she wasn't, I only saw her skateboard. I started to feel worried because she would never leave her skateboard alone, so I picked up the skateboard and yelled "Max!,Where are you?!! MAX!!!!!
