Jessica
***Above is Jessica.***

"Hey, Alex. Whatcha doing?" I asked, leaning over her shoulder.

Almost instantly, she blushed and closed her phone.
"Nothing," she mumbled shyly.

I smiled and shook my head at my dear friend.
"Okay. I'll let you off the hook. For now at least, I saw those heart emojis."
I wiggled my eyebrows at her, causing Alex to hide behind her pink and violet ombré hair.

"But what are we doing today?" I tossed my feet up on the coffee table.

Alex shrugged.
"I don't know. I think Ricky is suppose to be coming home tonight from tour. So we may have to go pick him up."

I glanced her, smirking.
"Then we better get started on that redecoration I was thinking about."

Alex smiled at me.
"No. You cannot cover my brother's room in glitter glue."

I gasped dramatically and threw my arms in the air.
"But glitter is like herpes! No matter how hard you try to get rid off them, they always come back! And we all know poor Rick Dick is full of herpes."

Alex looked at me like I'm stupid as she quietly laughed.
"Are you okay? Where did that even come from?"

I shrugged.
"I honestly don't know." I picked up my cup of coffee. "I haven't had my daily cup of Starbucks yet."

Alex rolled her eyes.
"You sound more and more like Chris with each day that passes."

I laughed and tossed my body on the couch, sitting where my head was hanging upside down and my legs were against the back, upright.

"Maybe because I'm always around him. I'm pretty for sure him and Ange are having a secret affair no one knows about." I glanced around and whispered like I was telling a secret. "Except I know."

Alex giggled and shook her head.

I laughed. " I know. I know. I'm sooooooo funny."

Between Alex and I, she was more quiet, shy, and a goody two shoes. Whereas, I was wild, loud, and a total smartass at times.
We were best friends, practically inseparable. You would never find one of us without the other.

Hell, one point I think I followed her into a port a potty at Warped Tour because people where getting wild and I didn't want her hurt.

Many people confuse our relationship as a dating one but in reality we are just very close friends. Alex was like the little sister I had lost back when I was younger. Besides, I wasn't the type of person compatible for a dating relationship. Not after what happen in high school. Not after how he treated me and fueled the flames of lies.

"Jess?"

"Hmmmm?" I glanced upside down at Alex.

"Ricky just texted me; he said that his plane will be landing soon so we should go ahead and head to the airport."

I groaned and shifted, which caused me to fall to the ground, causing me to groan once more.
"But I don't want to get ready," I whined. "I haven't even finished my coffee yet."

Alex snorted.
"Maybe you shouldn't have been hanging upside down or you would've finished it," she taunted.

I fake gasped and clutched my heart.
"Cruel. How dare you?"

Alex giggled and jerked her chin up to the hallway.
"Just go get ready."

"I don't wanna," I whined.

"I'll buy you more Starbucks one the way."

It was safe to say, with that, I was on my feet and down the hall.

Opening the door to my room, I was greeted with posters of the Misfits, The Smiths, Slipknot, Manson, Suicide Silence, Motionless In White -of course-, In The Moment, New Years Day, Falling In Reverse, My Chemical Romance, and just about any other poster you can find in Hot Topic.

Yawning, I walked over to my closet and grabbed a pair of ripped skinny jeans that were black and white striped, like Beetlejuice. Next, I found an Avenged Sevenfold tank top and my black converse.

I grabbed the clothes and changed quickly. I had taken a shower the night before so I wouldn't have to worry about it now.

After I was dressed, I sat down in front of my mahogany vanity and began to straighten my long brown hair. Once I'm done, I did a simple winged eyeliner and black eyeshadow. I placed in my bottom lip piercing and ran some chap stick over my lips and called it a day.

"Jess?" Alex popped her head into my room.

"Yeah?" I said as I slipped my arm through the sleeve of my coat.
The coldness of PA was brutal sometimes and today just so happened to be one of those days.

I grabbed my keys and turned around to face her.

"Ricky said he has something to discuss with us when we all get back."

I cocked an eyebrow.
"Okay? Well, let's go to the airport. My ass is already freezing."
