Jessica
(A/n: for the story, let's say Ryan lived in California for high school and so did Jess when she was younger.)That night I moved away. My biological dad sent me to live with my and Ange's mom in Scranton. That night I debated suicide but backed out. My father found me sobbing in my floor for the last time. He saw the bruises that were caused from being shoved into walls or violently pushed out of the way in the halls or even the scratches from the girls on the cheerleading team who thought it was okay to 'punish' me.
"Jess? You okay?" Ricky asked concerned.
I gulped and looked at me, plastering a fake smile on my face.
"Yeah. Just a little dazed. Didn't get much sleep last night.""Ooooh."
"Yeah. I think I'm gong to go take a shower and take a nap." I scratched my head.
Ricky nodded, picking up his keys.
"Okay. Me and Alex have to go shopping for Mom's birthday, so it'll just be you and Ryan."I smiled tightly and nodded at the two. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Ryan staring at me.
"I'll probably just text Tj and see if he wants to come chill later anyway. Make it a party," I joked, slightly strained.
"Ha. Just don't get drunk." Ricky laughed as he grabbed his keys. "Ryan if you need anything, just ask Jessica."
"I will," Ryan promised, shoving his hands into his jeans.
"Oh and Jessica?" Ricky added, poking his head out of the door.
I glanced back at him.
"Yea?""If you're having Tj over... DON'T FORGET TO USE PROTECTION!" He shouted before slamming the door shut right as the travel cup that I had thrown at him mid-sentence bounced off it, my face blushing insanely.
Ryan chuckled. I looked back at him over my shoulder.
"Soooooooooo." He drawled.
I glared him. "Don't talk to me."
I stomped to the hall and into my room. Flopping back onto my bed, I grabbed a pillow and shoved it over my face before screaming into it.***
After I had my little fit, I got up and took a quick shower. It would've been longer but some dumbass decided to make all the noise he could in the kitchen. After getting out, I dried my brown hair that was getting a bit too long for my liking. I threw on a plain white t-shirt that said 'Life Is Dumb And I Want To Sleep' with black ripped skinny jeans and knee high converse. Once I'm done, I sent a quick text to Tj to come over before walking out to the kitchen.
Before me was a wreck of pots and pans. Ryan stood in the center with his arms crossed, pouting.
"I was trying to make pancakes but couldn't find the right pan." He huffed.
I rolled my eyes, walking by him to grab a Monster from the fridge. Ryan snorted.
"What? Are you gong to ignore me?"
I pulled out my phone and began to check messages as I sat down at the island with my back against the counter top. I had one new text from Tj, saying he'll be there soon.
"You know, Ricky said to help me."
I rolled my eyes. Fuck Ricky. Helping a backstabbing bastard is not on my to do list today.
"Real mature, Jessica. Fucking 24 years old and still act like a child. Lemme ask you something: you still into older men? I heard Mr. Harrison is divorced now and got some money." The smirk in his voice was clear.
I slammed my Monster down onto the counter, some of the energy drink spilling out of it. Right as a hiss began to crawl out my throat, the front door bell rung and the door flung open.
"Hoooooooney!! I'm hoooooooome!" A singsong voice called out.
