****1 week later****

It's been a week since I got out of the hospital, and a week since Ryan and I start dating. To be honest, it's still a tad bit weird since we're not hating on each other like we use to, but I like it. He's so attentive and loving surprisingly.

Shockingly, Ricky and Alex accepted it and even cheered on our relationship. Apparently, they saw it coming a mile away and that was another reason why Alex broke up with Ryan. Even Angelo was supportive even if he was a tad bit wary at first. He knew Ryan first hand so he knew how much of a dick he could be a times but then Ange saw Ryan is with me and he gave his consent. If consent means that he threatened to cut Ryan's dick off and shove it so far his ass, people will start calling him a cock sucker if Ryan so much as made me cry or touched me.

That's big brothers for you.

"So, I was thinking," Ryan interrupts my thoughts as he pauses the movie we were watching. I twist in his arm that was around my shoulders to face him.

"Maybe I could take you out on a date tonight?" He looks down at me.

My eyes widen. "Really? You know you don't have to do that."

"I know, but I want to. I want to show you how much you mean to me. And we've been dating for a week now, I want to take you on a proper date."

I glance down at my shirt and play with the ends. "I've never been on an actual date before," I mumble.

"Really?" He asks, shocked.

I shake my head. "Nope. I've had a few boyfriends in the past but all they wanted was to get in my bed. None of them bothered with the wining and dining portion of it."

Ryan shifts and pulls me into his lap. My legs bend on either side of his legs and I'm suddenly grateful for the new brace that replaced the cast that used to be around my injured leg.
"I am definitely taking you on a date now. 8 sharp. Be ready."

He sets me back down on the couch and stands up. Grabbing his keys, he shoves them in his back pocket and shrugs on his jacket.

"Where are you going?" I'm so confused right now. Why is he leaving.

Ryan kisses my forehead as I cross my legs. "I have to go get things ready for tonight."

My heart melts. "Ryan, you really don't have to. Don't go overboard. Please. I'm not worth it."

"There's a first time for everything, baby. And trust me, you are worth it and so much more. I'll be back tonight. I'll see you later, love."

Ryan hurries out the door and closes it behind him. Through the window, I could see him rushing to his car through the light flurry of snow.

What have I gotten myself into?

****
Later that night I find myself standing in front of the mirror. My outfit for the date consists of a grey sleeveless shirt that tucks into a black skirt with silver zippers as the pockets. Underneath the skirt, I wear zig zag leggings with my black brace over my left leg. My newly grey hair with straighten before I decided to put light waves in it and is pressed back out of my face with a knotted grey beanie. Cute ankle boots cover my feet and I have silver, grey, and black smokey eye going on with black lipstick.

Down the hall, I hear the doorbell ring and I throw on my leather jacket and grab my clutch.

"Coming," I shout, walking down the hall. Putting my phone inside the clutch, I open the door.

"Hey," my jaw drops. Ryan stands before me wearing a pair of skinny black jeans with a black button up and a dark red tie, the sleeves of his shirt rolled up past his elbows. In his hands is a bouquet of red roses.
