"We should go out tonight," Ryan randomly says. I sit up on my side and lean over on my elbow to look at him. It's been two weeks since I was officially free of the TB disease. Since then, everything has been great. Ryan and I have grown closer than ever and it's just been amazing.

"I mean, if you want to. I really don't care. Though a date night does sound really nice," I respond thoughtfully.

He sits up and nods. "Then it's settled. We're going out tonight. How does a movie and dinner sound?"

"Pretty good. Can we go to Olive Garden tonight? They have that special where everything is half off and I've been craving me some Olive Garden."

Ryan smiles at me, shaking his head. "Of course you have. You crave some of the weirdest stuff at the weirdest times. You always have ever since high school."

I huff. "It's not my fault."

Ryan snorts. "It kinda is. It's your body after all."

I shove his shoulder and a wicked gleam shines in his eyes.

"Uh-oh," I mumble, trying to scoot away.

Ryan grins a secretive grin. "You're in for it now," he says before pouncing on top of me. Pinning my hands above my head, he begins to tickle my sides.

"R-r-ry Ry-Ryan st-sto-stop," I squeal, twisting and turning away.

"Never!" He gives an evil laugh as he continues to tickle me.

After getting out of the shower, I dress in a pair of lightly ripped black jeans, a dark grey tank, and a white loose crop top over top that says 'I Love You' on it. Once I dry and slightly curl my hair, I put on a couple of necklaces and rings and spray on a bit of perfume. I pull of my black ankle boots and go downstairs after I attach my clutch to my wrist.

In the living room, Ricky and Alex are chilling with Tj.

"Hey!" I say, walking up and hugging my dude best friend. "Long time no see!"

Tj laughs and hugs me back. "Yeah. ETF just got back from tour. You're looking good, Jess. Got a hot date?"

I strut and pose before grinning and standing straight back up. "Matter of fact I do. And his name is Ryan Sitkowski."

Tj's eyes widen as he looks at me then to Ricky and Alex then back at me and then back at them.

"Wait. So you're dating Shitkowski? Like the guy you swore up and down was Satan walking and murdered children to feel happiness?"

I glare at him. "I never said that."

"But you thought it though."

I roll my eyes. "No, but yes, I am dating him. For almost 7 or 8 months now."

"Damn. Never saw that coming."

"That's what she said," Ricky shouts.

"Shut up, Olson!" Tj and I yell.

We both look at each and laugh right as the door rings.

"He lives here yet he stills ring the doorbell. Hopeless dramatic," I grin, walking over to the door.

"Hey, babe." I greet. Ryan is dressed similar to the way he did on our last date. Black skinny jeans, hair slicked back, dark button up, and tie.

Ryan kisses my cheek as he hands me a bouquet of black roses. I smile.

"Thanks, Ry. They're beautiful." I smell the roses. "Let me put them in a vase before we leave."

Ryan nods as he enters and follows me. Looking around, he rubs his hands on his jeans. He seems nervous....
Shaking off the thought, I go to the kitchen and find a vase.

"Hey, man!" I hear from the living room as the two old friends greet each other.

Once I get everything situated, I head back to where Ryan was standing and talking to Tj at. He glances over at me and I smile.

"Ready to go?" He asks, reaching out a hand.

"Yep," I pop the 'p'.

Leading me to the car, Ryan opens my door.
"After you, milady," he bows.

I laugh and get in.
"Why thank you, kind sir."

He smiles at me and gets in on his side.
"So I was thinking we could watch either Atomic Blond or the new Adam Sandler movie."

I jump in my seat. "The Adam Sandler movie definitely."

Ryan chuckles and grabs my hand.
"This is why I love you."

About two or three hours later, Ryan and I walk out into the empty parking lot of Olive Garden. The movie was great and so was dinner. Holding Ryan's hand, I skip to the car. Stopping in front of it, I lean against the hood and wrap my arms around his neck as he leans against me. Setting his hands on the car beside my hips, he presses his forehead against mine.

"I had an amazing time, Ryan. Thank you." I whisper. He pecks the tip of my nose.

"You're welcome, love. I had a great time, too."

"I love you, Ryan. I really do. I don't think I can see myself being with anyone else other than you," I admit.
For past couple of weeks, that's all I've been able to think about. About how he may find someone way better than me and leave me for them. I honestly couldn't see a life without Ryan in it in some way, shape, or form.

"I can't see myself being with anyone else either. Everything about you, Jess, just draws me in. You're so sweet yet a smart ass. I love how you put others before yourself. I love how you're willing to give me your last Starbucks to make me feel better whenever I'm sick. I love how you're not afraid to call me out of my bullshit. I love how you curl up to my side when you're sleeping. I love how you scrunch your nose when you're deep in thought. I love how you make these cute little snort noises when you are truly laughing. I love how you whisper lyrics or tap out beats on your thighs whenever you hear something you like. I love the sweet hugs you give me anytime you see me. I love how you get this adorable twinkle in your eyes whenever I do anything whatsoever for you. I love how you worship the ground of the people you care about but yet you're willing to knock their ass to the ground if they piss you off. I love how you keep trying to trick me into buying a kitten. Yeah, I noticed the not-so-subtle searches on my phone," I blush through the tears on my face. "I love how the simplest things I do can make you blush. I love everything about you. I love you, Jessica. So maybe this is a little too soon, but... Jessica Parente, will you marry me?"

He bands down on one knee in the middle of the parking lot, underneath the midnight stars and pulls out a box. Opening it, he reveals a beauty diamond ring.

The air in my lungs catch and my hands come up to cover my mouth. Removing my gaze from the box, I look up at Ryan through tear filled eyes.

"Yes," I breath.
