Jessica

Today is the day I'm getting married to Ryan Sitkowski. Today is the day I become Jessica Sitkowski. Sitting in the  hotel room, I try to sit still as Jaime fixes my hair.

"I'm so jealous of your hair," she sighs as she straightens my still silver dyed hair. I decided that I wanted my natural color back for the wedding so I stopped dying it and let it grow out but then it annoyed me so I dyed it back.

I shake my head.
"You say that but wait until you wake up in the morning with a rat's best in your head."

Jamie sets the wand down. "I call bullshit. You forget I've seen you in the morning."

I huff. "Damn. You caught me."

Laughing, she pulls my hair back into a bun type thing on top of my head and pulls a few strands forward to frame my face. Taking the little broach that my veil will attach to, she places the diamond encrusted thing and slips into place on the bun.

"Alright. Your hair is done. I'll go get Ghost so he can do your makeup," Jaime claps. I smile at Ricky's new girlfriend. They were so cute together it's unbelievable. As Jaime leaves the room, I sigh and look at my mom and Alex who is my maid of honor.

"What's wrong?" My mom asks.

I chew on my freshly painted nails.
"I'm nervous. What if something goes wrong or I trip when I walk down or if Ryan backs out last minute? MOM WHAT IF MY WEDDING TURNS OUT LIKE DEMI LOVATO's MUSIC VIDEO FOR TELL ME YOU LOVE ME???" I start to hyperventilate.

Alex walks over and grabs my jaw.
"Chill. The. Fuck. Out." I stare at her with wide eyes. "I highly doubt he will do that to you. That boy loves you more than he loves Demi Lovato."

My body relax slightly as I lean back in the chair, nodding.
"You're right. But he could still change his mind."

Mom and Alex sigh but before the have the chance to correct me, Ghost sails in through the door, looking perfect in his black fitted suit.
He does a little jump in front of me.

"I am here! It is time to prepare the queen for her show!" He throws his arms dramatically, causing all of us to laugh. I smile and shake my head at him. Setting his makeup down, he turns to me.

"So what exactly do you want?" He asks, starting to add a bit of pale foundation to my face.

"Umm. I was thinking just light grey and white eyeshadow with wings. I want to keep it simple."

He nods. "I agree. So I say we do that and you let me contour your face just a tiny bit and then we can add gold highlights to draw everything out and just a clear coat of lip gloss. Sound good?"

I give him a gesture of agreement and he gets started. All around me, the start to get ready. I only have three girls in my bridal party: Alex, Jaime, and Alex's girlfriend, Friday. For Ryan, his were Ricky, Vinny, and Balz.
We wanted to keep to keep our parties small, so all the others would be in the crowd and Chris would be officiating the ceremony while Angelo walks me down the aisle.

Looking down at my engagement ring, I study the simple yet elegant ring. It was diamond ring set into a silver band with tiny diamonds lining it all the way around. I smile. In less than a few hours, I would be married to the man I love.
