Attention all judges or any contestants who are simply curious as to how your book will be judged!

First of all, I'd like to apologize for not making this clear in the first place, or even stating in the rules how this is going to work. That was rather short-sighted of me. Secondly, a lot of the judges have been asking how they're supposed to judge the books, which lead me to realize that all chaos will ensue if I don't tell the judges what I'd like from them, if possible.

So book submissions are this Friday (January 12 if you're reading this in the future). Since categories like fanfiction are so, how should I put it, excited, it'll take me a couple days to get everything together and make sure I have all the entries and such. So the judges will recieve information on what to do this weekend and NO LATER I PROMISE!

A couple people asked if they had to read all the books in the genre they're judging. Nope! At the most you'd have to read two books, but you'll only have to worry about getting through one book and sharing your thoughts with me on it. I haven't worked out a deadline for the judges to be done reading because I have yet to contact all the judges to see how much time they have on their hands. However, judges will be notifyed of the deadline in an update of this book and over private message (if wattpad cooperates with me).

I will ask judges to tell me these things-

⭐️From one to ten, one being the lowest and ten being the highest, what would you rate this book based on storyline? (If it's an art book or a non-narrative poetry book just rate it based on your percieved quality).

⭐️Do you think the book deserves an award, and if so, which of the awards offered does it deserve?

⭐️I would like the judges to give personal feedback about the book, too :)

Based on that, I'll be able to figure out whether or not the books deserve an award and which one it should recieve. I'll also be reading the majority of these books, so I'll have my own oppinion as well. So hopefully all this information (plus anything the judges think is important to add) will make it easier for all of us to figure out who wins what... Even though it'll probably be a nightmare figuring out that...

I hope this was helpful to all of you who were wondering how to judge the books! Once again I'm sorry for not making this clear at the beginning, and I hope this clears things up!
