My dearest Butler

Chapter 55

After Lu sorted everything out from buying the house to getting our stuff there, it was finally time to go there ourselves. I much happily on my pancakes before taking a sip of blood from my glas. There's not many things better than pancakes and a fresh glass of blood in the morning. I smile at Lu who was also enjoying his food.

Just a few more hours until we travel to our new home and live like normal human beings. Well, almost. But hey, don't burst my bubble. My human life was just miserable and I didn't really get to enjoy it. And after that it pretty much went downhill. Until now. So obviously I'm pretty excited.

"Amanda?" I look at Lu, the smile still present on my lips. "I love you so much and I can't wait to start a proper life with you." He takes my hand and places it in his before giving it a squeeze.

"I love you more, Lu." I tell him while placing my other hand on top of his. "And I can't wait either. I can't believe that we'll actually be able to do this. It's just so amazing."

After packing the rest of our stuff and saying our goodbyes to everyone, we leave the castle where a taxi is already waiting for us to take us to the trainstation. Yes, we could just go there by train but I asked him not to. I like trains more plus you don't have to be at the trainstation hours before the train leaves to go through all the security checks and stuff.

While the taxi driver drives us there, I rest my head on his shoulder and stare outside the window. Lu took my hand in his and places a small kiss on it, making me smile. I'm not going to lie though. I do think that I'll miss our old home at least a bit. At least a tiny bit. As bad as some memories are, it was still the first place I could properly call a home. And I'm not just talking about the buildings but the things around them. The forest, the mountains, even the cliff off which I jumped to end my human life.

I bite my lipwhen I think back at how I first met Lu again. As Sebastian. How he called me a Jedi and viewed me as some sort of hero when I thought of myself as the complete opposite. Or when he tried to save me when I jumped again and I ended up having to save him. He was so adorable. He is adorable. I peck his cheek before cuddling myself closer to him.

After  a while we finally arrive at the train station. We get our things out of the taxi and pay the driver before heading to our platform. We only wait for a couple minutes until our train arrives. We walk up the stairs inside the train to the first class section.

The hours fly by fairly quickly and while we were talking about random things during the first two hours or so, I fell asleep pretty much as soon as Lu wrapped his arm around me and let me use his shoulder as a pillow.

When I open my eyes again I notice the jacket wrapped arund my body. "Morning beautiful." Lu whispers before kissing me "Did you sleep well?"

I look over to him and nod. "Very." I offer him a smile which he returns. "Are we finally there?" I ask him while rubbing the sleep off my eyes.

"Almost, love. Just about half an hour."

When the train finally came to a halt, I jumped out of my seat full of excitement at which Lu just chuckled. "What?" I exclaim with a frown plastering my face. "I'm just happy we're finally there." I grab my bag and make my way out of the train with Lu following suit. I grab Lu's hand and make my way out of the train station. When stepping outside, we are being greeted by a fresh breeze. I take in a deep breath.

"Mhmm, the air here smells so much different. I like it." I breathe out.

I look over to my left and see Lu walking away. I tilt my head to the side. What is he doing? I hurry after him and soon understand. He was just trying to get a taxi for us. As soon as one of the yellow cars stops for us, we place our stuff inside the boot before sitting down on the back seats of the car. Lu tells him our new adress and our driver soon takes off.

During the whole ride I stared outside the window in awe. I haven't been anywhere near here in ages. Last time I was here, I was still human. So much has changed, it's amazing. About an hour later we arrive at our final destination. 

Home sweet home.

Lu pays the driver before we get our stuff and wish him a good day. When we make our way inside the house I can't help but feel all hyped on the inside. And maybe a tiny little bit on the outside too.

Just a tiny bit though.

I excitedly jump up and down when Lu pulls out the key to our house. He glances over to me and gives me a strange look. "Do you want to open the door?"

I nod and eagerly reach for the key but he lifts his hand up, making it unable for me to reach the key. I huff in disappointment. "Not fair."

Lu shakes his head and smiles at me. "Give your Lu a kiss and you get the key."

I return the smile and wrap my arms around his neck before leaning in to kiss him. Gee though, why didn't he just kiss me. It's not like he has to force me to kiss him or anything. I'd do it any time.

I smile to myself after breaking the kiss. I know Lu for centuries now, I met him in past lives yet I get all warm on the inside, have them butterflies or whatever cheesy bullsheet.

He truly is amazing though.

He hands me the key and I take them before unlocking the door. The door swings open and I take a deep breath.

well, not so much action here, a few flashbacks and well... not much else

but it's +1000words like i promised^^ 

The next chapters will be more interesting, I guess. since they lead up to book numero 3 

and in the authors note of chapter 59 I'll finally be able to tell you the Title and tell you what it'll be about^^ 

Chapter 60 will be the end, the final chapter of this book~ (like I said)
