Chapter 56

My sleeping schedule is kind of fucked and I don't remember whether or not I updated today (my phone says chapter 55 and 56 got published yesterday which makes no sense so... That's not really helping XD)
So here u go with the chapter anyway^^

After a couple months of living in this house, my excitement still hasn't died down. Everything is going well and I can't fully believe it. I'm finally living a decent life. I have my own café, I have Lu. I even have friends. I'm blending in with everyone else and it's way better than I imagined.

I wipe one of the tables in my café clean since the costumer just left. I look around and let out a satisfied sigh. It's a rather small café but it feels quite comfortable here. The dark red walls don't really help in making it appear bigger but that's why I placed mirrors on one side of the wall, making it look like some sort of window do the other half of the café. The two walls facing the roads have huge windows so I hung red and golden curtains around them, much like the ones they use on stages. you know, when they pull them to the sides and tie it in place with some sort of cord. So basically the steriotypical curtain, I guess. With a sightly see through curtain just to the middle of the window to make the room appear a bit darker. 

All in all my café looks a bit antique but also modern, I made sure to mix both well so it looks appealing to my costumers. And it worked out really well. Comfy armchairs, tea tables, dim light and beautiful paintings. And of course nice and pretty waitresses. The three are good friends of mine by now.

I walk over to the man who raised his arm, indicating he wants to pay. Walking over to him, I notice the woman next to him. She appears to be in her twenties and looks really beautiful. They are both asian. Probably Japanese.

She brushes her long black hair behind her ear before straightening her purple dress. She glances through her bangs up at me and for a split second her eyes seem to flash in a different color. But maybe I just imagined it.

"Did you enjoy your stay?" I ask politely, offering them a smile while looking for their order.

"Very much, thank you." The man says, returning the smile and noding at me.

"I'm pleased to hear that, here, in case you plan on visiting us again." I tell him and hand him a flyer with special deals and such. "That makes 10 Euros for two vanilla latte and a piece of chocolate dream. Would you want to pay in cash or-"

But before I can finish my sentence he hands me a card. I insert it into the little machine and hand it to him so he could sign the bill. I take a look at it.

Murasaki.

Sounds pretty japanese to me, so I guess i was right. I smile at both of them and hand him his card over. "Have a great day and feel free to coma back."

"We'll defiantly come back." He says before leaving. 

I wipe the table before heading to the storage room. I arch my back and let my bones crack while letting out a sigh. 

"Oh, Amanda." Holly walks up to me from behind the shelf. "You've worked hard, give yourself a break already. I'm sure Ludwig is already waiting fr you at home." She nudges me slightly and I chuckle a bit. 

"Thank you, Holly. I'll cover you next friday so you can have a long weekend. I love you by the way."

"Yeah, yeah now shoo." She slaps my butt and we both giggle.

"Alright, alright. See you next week then. Tina should be here tomorrow, right?"

She nods. Guess Tina and I are going to have loads of fun on a saturday. I let out a sigh before grabbing my stuff and saying bye to Holly. I walk over to the parking lot and get in my car. believe it or not, I did do my driver's license a few decades ago. I was bored so I figured why not.

I start the engine and drive home.

When I arrive at my house I see Lu's car and smile immediately. He's home too. I park the car and lock it before heading inside.

I take of my shoes and Jacket and look to the right where his office is. I peek inside but no one is there. No one seems to be in the kitchen, dining or living room either so I make my way upstairs. I look inside all the rooms, the three spare rooms we usually use as storage rooms for the stuff we didn't unpack yet, the library and our bedroom. Where could he be? "Lu?" I call out. "I'm home, hun." I let out a sigh before walking back in the hobby room slash library. I take the sketch block from the small table as well as a 4B pencil pefore plopping down on a beanbag.

If he's not here, I might as well kill some time by drawing. I glance over to the bookshelves as if they could tell me what to draw. Not knowing what else to do I start drawing a raven. I don't know why, I just like them. They are beautiful creatures and quite intelligent. 

I completely focus on drawing and shriek when a pair of arms wrap around me. "Lu!" I exclaim while jumping out of the comfy seat. "Well at least you showed youself. Where were you?"

"Nawh, did someone miss me?" He teases and fake pouts at me.

I roll my eyes at him. So mature. "Of course I did. I came home early just so we could spend more time together."

"Awh." He smiles and cups my cheek. "You're so cute." he squishes my cheeks together. "Sooo cute." I let out a huff and he just chuckles at me. "Well, you want to spend time with me so..." He lets go of my face "Come and get me!" He yells before sprinting off in vampire speed.

I roll my eyes but follow him anyway. After a while I manage to force him inside our bedroom. I smirk at him before pinning him down on the bed, sitting on top of him and holding his hands in place right above his head. "I got you, now what?" I smirk at him "Will you be a good doggo?"
