"So, that's basically the whole property, We really only have two rules. Don't go into the main house without telling us first, my parents love company but not surprises. and lastly, don't cause problems with the other residents"i parked the golf cart that I was giving them a tour on and we hopped out. "You guys are pretty official here aren't you?" Aden asked with a hint of amusement in his voice.
"Yeah, our pack has gotten a lot bigger over the years so my parent decided they should probably upgrade the living quarters." Aden nodded.
I've noticed both of the Praxtion boys nod a lot I found out their last name when I gave them house keys,Praxtion was written on the little keychain I.D tag.
"Oh and I almost forgot, the guest house is off limits too." Jace gave me a sideways look.
"That seems like a newer rule."
"Yeah, when I turn seventeen I'll be moving into it."
I opened the front door of the main house."Don't we need to ask for permission?" Aden asked sarcastically, I bumped his shoulder with mine and laughed. "You better come in before I change my mind."
He saluted me, "Sir, Yes ma'am." I let out another small laugh. "Kayla how many times have I said don't just leave your backpack on the couch?"
I turned around and grabbed my backpack from her. "What problem does it cause?"
"I once tripped over it and hit my eyebrow on the coffee table that's why I have this." He pointed to the tiny scar that goes above his eyebrow.
"Yeah, and you tell all the girls you like, that you won a fight. And 'that you should see the other guy' So, really I'm just giving girls a reason to even go near you."
He stuck his tongue out and went back to playing on the Xbox. I swear he spends more time on that than anyone I've ever met. "Plus we're kinda matching," Aden announced he raised his eyebrow and Liam and I looked at his scar.
He has a scar on his eyebrow, but it's nothing like Liam's his is small and runs just above his eyebrow. Adens, on the other hand, ran straight through his arch.
I'm not gonna lie, It looks pretty badass.
I slung my backpack over my shoulder and was about to head upstairs when the doorbell rang.
I knew it was Jackson but, he never rings the doorbell he usually just storms in and eats all my fruit snacks. I went to open the door but Jace beat me to it.
I stood behind Jace trying to get in front of him but he just stood there, and since he is about a foot taller than me his whole body blocked my view.
"And who are you?" Jackson asked.
I let out a little laugh Jackson and his bluntness. That's probably why we get along so well, we're both blunt but, we don't take everything we say personal. "I'm Jace, and you must be Jackson..."
I narrowed my eyebrows and pushed Jace aside. Why the hell, is he acting so weird? I barely know the guy, and he barely knows Jackson. Plus Jace is usually super quiet, that's what I've noticed anyway based on the few times I've seen him at school.
Something tells me Jace's real personality is anything but quiet and innocent.
"Earth to Kay-bear," Jackson said waving his hand in front of my face. I fought back a smile, "Sorry not sorry." I said opening the door wider and gave me a hug before we headed upstairs.
"Weren't you guys planning on training?" Aden asked, with an odd expression on his face.
What is up with these guys?
