THIRTEEN 

I spent the few hours I had before the hangout tonight obsessing over what Nick said to me, He knows exactly who keeps giving me Wolfsbane.

He's friends with them.

The doorbell pulled me out of my spiraling thoughts, I glanced in the mirror one last time to make sure I look presentable, and the doorbell chimed again.

I quickly made my way down the stairs slipping on two of them on the way down, but not falling. I have ninja-like reflexes.

"Be patient!" I yelled as the doorbell went off again.

I swing the door open and there is a freaking crowd of people standing on my front porch.

I pulled Aden into the house by his bicep.
"Who are all these people?"

"You said, and I quote, the more the merrier!" I glared at him. "So you brought everyone..."

"Yup." He said proudly. I brushed past him, "Hey guys come on in."

At least I know most of the people he brought, Dawson, Jace, a few girls in the pack. "Everyone this is Kayla, she was nice enough to invite us all out with her tonight." Lies...

Aden pointed to a girl that was hanging off of Jace, she had short black hair. "That's Lila." Then he started to point and introduce me to everyone else.

"This is Alex, My best friend. Sarah, Brittany, and Zac." I sent a quick wave to everyone and slipped out of the crowd. I started dialing Milos number to warn him about all the new people Aden invite, I figured he would only invite like two people.

I heard someone's phone ring, I turned around and Milo was standing in the front doorway. I quickly made my way over to him, "Sorry, I guess people just started inviting other people." He wasn't happy about it I could tell, but he smiled at me anyway.

"No problem. I'm sure you and me, can still find time to hang out."

After another round of introductions and Milo said we could go see a movie and then hang out at his house, everyone seemed down for his idea so we headed out to the theater.

Dawson gently grabbed my shoulder to get my attention. "Hey, Dawson what's up?"

"Please let me ride with you guys. If I have to be near Jace and his prostitute any longer I'm going to claw my eyes out." I started laughed.

"Woah, no need to do that, you can ride with us."

Once everyone was out of the house I locked it up and went over to Milos car. "Kayla!" I turned around, but I heard Milo sigh beside me.

"Hey, Sarah what's up?"

"Aden wanted to know..." She stared at me blankly. "Wanted to know what?" I drawled.

"Oh right." She started to giggle. "If you wanted to just carpool."

"No." Her bubbly appearance faded. "Why not?"

"Because after we are done at Milos house he isn't going to want to drive everyone home." She sighed.

"But-"

"Okay see you at the theater!" I said getting in the car. When I shut the door Dawson and Milo started laughing. "What?"

"You are stone cold!" Dawson replied.
"Truly," Milo added.

"Yeah okay whatever. She would have never stopped. I just did what no one else would."

They both started laughing again.
