FIFTEEN, "SLEEPOVER."
I decided to shower before I went downstairs, after the weird vision of that guy holding me and kissing me, I just feel all out of whack.
Mostly because I enjoyed it, and I hate admitting that. I took a steaming hot shower, I wrapped up in a towel and walked into my bedroom, right as I walked to my closet my bedroom door flung open.
I held the towel tighter on my body and hid in the closet.
"Look, Kayla, I know you're still mad about the weird joke Jace played on you, but it was just a joke and I'm sick of-"
"Aden..."
"I'm sick of Jackson not telling me what's going on, maybe it's because he doesn't know either, but-"
"ADEN." He took a deep breath. "What?"
"I'm naked could you please let me get dressed." He didn't even respond instead I hear my bedroom door slam close. My heart is beating out of my chest do to that embarrassing moment.
I quickly got dressed and towel dried my hair.
"Why didn't he just knock?" I mumbled to myself, as I shuffled down the stairs.
"Kayla, I am so sorry I didn't know you were changing and I knocked and knocked and you didn't answer so I got nervous and I overreacted I'm so sorry."
"Aden breath, it's okay." I sat down on the coffee table in front of the couch. "I'm guessing you guys have a bunch of questions about why I passed out."
"I mean we know why you had a vision, but what was it about?" Jack asked.
I felt a weird flashback appearing in my brain, I took a deep breath and exhaled. "it was...Uh, I'm actually not exactly sure, I was in this room, like think everything is black, but myself, and I was talking to someone-"
"Who?" Aden asked. "I'm not sure." Jackson shifted in his seat. "Maybe it was the MoonGoddess." I bit my lip nervously. "No, it uh wasn't her."
"Well, how can you be sure?"
"It wasn't a woman." Aden narrowed his eyebrows. "Not a woman?"
"Nope," I said getting up and going to the kitchen, I grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge and chugged it. "Someone's thirsty," Aden stated with his scared eyebrow raised. "You sure it was a dude?"
I rolled my eyes. "Pretty sure."
"What do you think the vision means?"
"Whatever it is, I'm guessing it is not good."
"Well, maybe we should just watch a movie and try to get your mind off of it?"
"Sounds perfect."
I sat snuggled in between Jackson and Aden, as we watched one of the Hang Over movies. I leaned my head on Aden and started to drift asleep.
I felt the couch shift and my human heaters move. "I'm gonna head out. Are you staying?"
"Yeah, I think it's a good idea," Aden stated.
"Take care of her."
"I will." I heard the front door open. "You better."
The front door closed, and I could hear Aden's footsteps get closer, "You know, your acting asleep skills are shit." I pulled a pillow over my head and hid my face. "I wasn't acting."
"Mhm. Let's go to bed Marshmellow." He picked me up bridal style and brought me upstairs. He set me on the bed and covered me up, then he went and sat down on the chair in the corner of my room.
