Aden and I circled around each other on the sparing mat, before I took the first move and threw a punch, he easily deflected my punch. He went to swipe my legs underneath me, so I quickly moved and got two punches on his side.He didn't fall back but I did see his face scrunched up and his forehead, which meant my punches did hurt. Even if it didn't show to other people.
I made the mistake of dodging one of his punches and not keeping my defenses up and he managed to bend down and pick me up off the ground.
I tried to wiggle out of his grip but he was holding on pretty tight. "You got this Kay-Bear! Kick his ass." Jackson shouted.
Aden was laughing at me getting aggravated which only added fueled the fire, I focused on my breathing and calmed down a little bit "Put me down." I said sternly.
"Umm, I don't think so." He said with humor in his voice. "I warned you," I said quietly.
I threw my knee into his torso causing him to lean forward, my feet hit the ground but he still had a tight grip on my waist, I threw a punch at his face and blocked it.
His grip loosened and I quickly slide out and backed away from him.
"Damn that fucking hurt." He sounded out of breath, I did hit him pretty hard. "Sorry, I shouldn't have hit you that hard." I actually felt bad. "It's okay."
He said putting his hands in the air as if he was accepting his defeat. I had a cocky smirk on my face when I turned away from him and smiled at Jackson and Jace. "See I told you-"
"Watch out Kay-" Suddenly I was tackled to the ground. I turned over and he straddled me, so I couldn't move. "What was that you said about not letting your guard down?" He said sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes and forced my hips into his so I could get out of his hold, he moved enough to his side now I can push him on his back, now I'm straddling him.
He let out a small laugh. "That was actually pretty bad ass but," He easily turned on his side once again and had me pinned, I threw a punch at his jaw. He immediately pinned my hands above my head.
He leaned in and whispered in my ear.
"But, You're tiny and it's really fucking adorable." Suddenly my body started to heat up not just from his words but also from the fact that he was straddling me.
I let out an awkward cough, and he got off of me and helped me up. "I was rooting for you Kay-Bear. You totally would have kicked his ass if he didn't catch you off guard." As much as I wanted to believe Jack I knew that Aden was a stronger fighter than me.
He purposely held back, he didn't throw any dangerous punches or kicks.
He defended himself without hurting me.
Which was actually incredibly attractive.
"I was wrong I'll admit that," Jace said, he had a hint of embarrassment on his face."Damn right," I responded.
Jace and Jack started an argument about if penguins are birds or not, Jace called him an idiot for even thinking that penguins weren't birds. "You have pretty good fighting skills," I said to Aden as I handed him a sweat towel.
"Thanks. You're not too bad yourself." He playfully bumped his shoulder against mine.
"How'd you learn to fight without...Fighting?"
"I've never liked the idea of having to hurt someone unless I have too." His tone and expression made him sound dead serious. "Have you ever had to? or would you?"
