A/N - Sorry if this appeared blank earlier when I checked it last night everything seemed alright.

Y/N P.O.V

It's been a few days since Cardin's Judgment, and since then he has been acting like an actual person. He's even apologized to Velvet for how he originally acted, everyone is shocked by this change of heart, but hopefully, over time everyone will accept it. It's the day for when preparations were being made for The Vytal Festival. I was going to go by myself, but Ruby invited me along to look around the town with them and look at the Vytal Festival being set up. We were all walking together except for Weiss who is surprisingly cheerful and looking around in amazement.

Weiss: The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!

Weiss is looking around with a big smile on her face.

Ruby: I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out...

I chuckle a bit.

Y/N: Petals shouldn't even the coldest of people smile once in a while I mean this is an important festival!

Weiss looks back at Ruby.

Weiss: Y/n's right how could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!

Yang crosses her arms and sighs.

Yang: You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring.

Weiss: Quiet, you!

We eventually make our way to the docks.

Yang: Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?

Ruby covers her nose.

Ruby: Ugh, they smell like fish!

I don't really mind the smell; I do mind that Orochimaru is north of here and if everyone keeps wondering they might stumble upon him. I get out of my train of thought when Weiss speaks up.

Weiss: I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And, as a representative of Beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom!

I stare at her *I'm willing to put money that she's here to look at the competition for the tournament* Blake then says exactly what I'm thinking.

Blake: She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament.

Weiss: You can't prove that!

Our conversation when Ruby looks over at something and directs our attention to it. It's a dust store that looked like it was destroyed. The crime scene was covered with police tape, and two detectives were talking to each other.

Ruby: Whoa.What happened here?

As if some mysterious force granted her wish the detectives started to speak up probably unaware we were listening while walking by.

Detective 1: Robbery. Second Dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle.

Yang: That's terrible.

Detective 2: They left all the money again.

This catches my attention this has White Fang written all over it. They're the only organization that is collecting a huge amount of dust in Vale right now. Ruby also takes note of this.

Ruby: Huh?

Detective 1: "Yeah, just doesn't make a lick of sense. Who needs that much Dust?"

Detective 2: I don't know, an army?
