(Volume 4) Chapter 24: Chains Dragging Me Home

(A/n- A bit early or a bit late depends on how you see it. First apologies for not posting last week, being forced in the E.R(Emergency Room) at the local hospital does put a halt in writing. So with me feeling better I decided to post this a bit earlier than I normal would for these chapters. Also to make up for not posting I left you guys something at the end of this chapter. A bit of a teaser enjoy. )

Y/n P.O.V

I glare at my opponent with an arrow notched in Ardent Whisper my eyes glowing silver. *He's a scorpion Faunus and from what I could make out earlier he seems to be very fast and very agile. But he also has an insane type of nature to him which I can use to my advantage.*

As I'm trying to get a read on him, he laughs insanely.

Faunus: Well what are you waiting for!?! Let's get this fight started already!!!

He starts to rush me and as he does I let my arrow loose and as he dodges it with ease I use Kamui to warp it away and in return run towards him. Then as we're right in front of each other, I use Kamui on myself and faze right through him and turn around and loose another arrow. He looks back confused and grabs my second arrow out of the air but as he does I use Kamui and make the first arrow reappear, and it hits its mark embedding into the back of his knee. He stumbles a bit and growls at me.

Faunus: YOU BASTARD!! You shot me in the knee!! I'll get you for that!?

He snaps the arrow and digs out the arrowhead and once again starts his assault. I de summon Ardent Whisper and summon a part of Susanoo and I will it to grab the Faunus and chuck him into the nearby building. As he goes crashing through I, hear clapping, and I look up to see Danzo smirking at me.

Danzo: Well..it looks like you've improved since the last time we've met! Did you ever find out your eyes hidden power?

I glare at him for a moment, and then I smirk which he frowns too. *I'll deal with you in a bit, for now, I need to deal with Mr. Insanity first.* I turn back around in time to see him emerge from the now collapsed building laughing his ass off.

Mr. Insanity: THIS IS SO EXCITING!! I thought this would be an easy task but this this! Heh...heh..hehehehhHAHAHAHAHHA!!

He laughs without a care in the world and holds out his Pincer-like blades and suddenly with impressive speed appears in front of me and in the nick of time I summon Skell's Cascade in Defense form and are weapons clash. As we clash, he looks me up and down.

Mr. Insanity: Its funny you may act like a good guy, but I can tell without a second thought..your as bad as me!

He jumps back and skulks into the shadows laughing. I start to try to see this guys aura, but as I get a read, he quickly reappears and uses gorilla tactics and once again disappears. All the while he giggling and talking to me.

Mr. Insanity: Sure you may be doing good but let me ask you? Are you being true to yourself? I can tell just from fighting you, from looking at your eyes... You've done horrible things, things that are truly and utterly unforgivable... How many have you killed? Hundreds? Thousands!?

*This guy is really starting to piss me off but if I'm patient..* This time as he reappears and lunges at me I dodge and as I do I grab his leg and I use all my weight and power to slam him into the ground. As he impacts the ground, it causes a small tremor and creates a small crater causing most of the abandoned village to break apart and collapse only leaving the wall and a few buildings still intact. As the dust starts to settle, I see him giggle to himself while still on the ground. He shakily gets up and looks to Danzo.

Mr. Insanity: Hey!! Mind if you help a bit!!! This sure is fun, but I can tell from one psychopathic murderer to another. If he gets any more serious, he'll definitely kill me!!
