The rest of the night was a mess. Matches were postponed until tomorrow morning, Yang was taken into custody, and a sense of dread was now in the air. Mercury was wheeled off with Emerald to the medical bay, and when I tried to pursue them I was stopped by Atlas Soldiers and even when I could've teleported in General Ironwood stopped me saying if I did anything it would get worse, so now I have to wait for General Ironwoods 'okay' which I'm not to fond of but surprisingly with that obstacle in the way it isn't my main concern at the moment. Thanks to me convincing General Ironwood Yang is on house arrest and confined to her dorm so at least she wouldn't be stuck in a cell. But everyone had to get somewhere else to sleep for the night since Yang had to be secluded because she's 'a danger to people around her.' Nonetheless, Weiss and Blake had to sleep in Jnpr's dorm for the night, and Ruby stayed with me.

For most of the night, I just comforted Ruby trying to convince her everything would be fine, and it wasn't Yang's fault. After a bit, we got ready for bed, and I let Ruby sleep in my bed while I hunkered down on the floor. Ruby kept asking if it was okay and I ensured her it was fine. For most of the night as Ruby slept, I kept staring at my Scroll waiting and hoping I wouldn't get the message. But sadly my Scroll buzzed and a single message was on my screen.

Ozpin: Its time to decide, will you go through on the plan .?

I dreaded this but with me unable to get the information to stop Cinders plan and with Ruby now a target to Salem I need to do this. I look at Ruby and smile sadly and whisper.

Y/n: Sorry Petals...

Y/n: Yes if you could tweak the randomizer so I could fight Rock Lee for my last fight I would appreciate it...

Ozpin: I'll see what I can do...

With my fate sealed and a heavy heart I lay down on the floor and start to close my eyes.

(Small Timeskip with Chib Y/n and Chibi Ruby snuggling and sleeping peacefully together.)

I slowly open my eyes as the sun shines into my room, surprisingly the night wasn't that cold or restless but when I notice a sleeping Ruby in my arms with a blanket covering us I understand why. I try to get up, but Ruby refuses to let go of me, so I shrug and just stay next to Ruby. I smile at the sight; she's so angelica as she sleeps. I put my glasses and just look at Ruby, and eventually, Ruby's eyes flutter open, and she warmly smiles at me.

Ruby: Good Morning Y/n.

I smile back.

Y/n: Morning Petals, how'd you sleep?

Ruby: It wasn't bad, would have been better if we actually slept in the bed.

I chuckle a bit.

Y/n: Hey you decided to join me on the ground.

Ruby: That's true, but can we stay a bit more like this before we get up...

I softly kiss Ruby on the cheek.

Y/n: Sure Petals.

After a bit, we finally decide to get up from the floor and get ready for the day. After going through the morning routine, we meet up with Weiss and Blake, and after having a semi-quite breakfast, I call General Ironwood to meet us and discuss what happened yesterday. He agrees, and we meet in Rwby's dorm. We go inside and immediately we start to talk but as it goes on General Ironwood sighs.
