(Volume 5) Chapter 32: Where Light Shines, Shadows Form.

(A/n- I LIVE!?!?! Dear god this took to long (rip)Well this is it, if I imagined and planned this out correctly this should be a long(Yes longer than volume 4 finale long) chapter, and I hope you all like the ending of this volume. With that let's get on with the chapter. Ps- will talk about some stuff at the end.)

Y/n P.O.V

Y/n: Ow...

Ruby: Sorry.

I sit on my bedside with Ruby next to me applying some medicine and looking over the very apparent punch with burn marks across my left cheek. She continues to swab it with medicine as she mumbles to herself slightly peeved.

Ruby: Oooo I am so gonna have a talk with Yang.

I shake my head and sigh.

Y/n: You don't need to do that Petals she-

Ruby cuts me off.

Ruby: She hit you at full force. When we all heard it, and the wall nearly crashes down, I thought the worse. I-I knew Yang, and you weren't on good terms after everything but for her to attack you.

As she continues to apply medicine to the wound, I place my hand onto hers.

Y/n: Then you and Weiss ran in grabbed me and left thinking Yang was going to attack me again. You didn't even ask what had led up to this. *I blindly gesture to where she hit me. So before anyone starts to yell at each other let me explain what happened.

*Flashback

I had just finished explaining what had happened after the last time I informed Yang of Ruby's travel, seeing her mother Raven in the bar with Qrow, fighting Tyrian and thinking I've killed Danzo. Yang then cuts me off.

Yang: So wait your eye's "special ability" let you..summon a copy of someone who died?

I shrug.

Y/n: Something like that, was only starting to use it and after the fight with Danzo, I've haven't used it since.

Yang goes silent thinking about something and says in a hushed voice.

Yang: Maybe....no, continue.

I then go on, explaining how we traveled to my old village in search of medicine for the poison that affected Qrow and me, then I go onto the whole crazy horseman Grimm and onto the face off with Danzo. I pause for a moment after I as delicately as possible explained what had happened to Ruby and I hear Yang clench her fist and in a deathly tone.

Yang: And you killed him right? You made that bastard pay and more for what he did right?

I solemnly and slowly nod my head and speak in the same tone.

Y/n: If I didn't.... I don't care what anyone would think. I would have made every second of that miserably monsters life as painful as death itself until I finally felt like torture was to kind and I'd force him into an endless trance of his worst nightmares.

Yang seems content with my answer, and I continue. Me giving Ruby my eyes, meeting Oscar and everything to now. As I finish, I hear Yang get up from wherever she was and walk towards me. I hesitantly speak.

Y/n: So? What happens now?

Yang: First I got a question, and then I'm going to do something, after that we'll be even, not friends...Yet, not enemies just even. Understood.

I nod.

Y/n: Ask away.

*Flashback End.

I stop regaling what happened to Ruby and she Ruby shakes my shoulder a bit.
