(Volume 2)Chapter 9: An Eyesore From Earlier

A/N- Sorry the picture for the chapter is different for this update. Apparently, the pictures( that I don't own)I was using only went up to chapter 8 skip 9 and stopped at ten, so after chapter 10 I'll try something new for the chapter picture. With that let's continue the story.

Y/N P.O.V

Y/N: let's begin.

I took a deep breath and prepared my 'story'. I start it off the same way I did when I was explaining it to Ozpin and Ms. Goodwitch, but I start to change the story a bit. Unlike with Ozpin, I tell the truth of how the mother died, how it was the child's fault, which he caused her death. Ruby looked up at me probably understanding who this story is about but I don't look at her and continued my story.

Y/N: But on the last day a Huntress visited the town, the child was amazed by the Huntress, later the Huntress was attacked by a villager for reasons unknown, none the less the child protected the Huntress. By the end of it despite saving a life the village ridiculed them for using their eyes to protect the Huntress, later after running away the Huntress thanked the child, the child then went to bed. *I start shaking as I continued reliving the scenes as I tell them. But the child was awoken by something...It willed the child to where the Huntress rested, and in cold blood the child murder the Huntress and beheaded them.

I took off my glasses with my free hand and covered my face.

Y/N: Later the child with who or whatever was controlling them made a ritual, it was intended to use the Huntress and the child's cursed eyes to destroy the village. But something happened, the child's eyes melted away and were replaced with the Huntresses eyes. The eyes then went out of control, the power erupting from those new stolen eyes, it did destroy whatever was controlling the child but.....in the end the whole village was destroyed, and everyone was also dead, the only one left was the child and his new stolen eyes..

I end my story by putting on my glasses back on and looking at Ruby who is looking down remaining silent.

Y/N: I'm sorry I lied to you a while ago on how my mom died, I take no joy in lying but...if people knew about my past and the things I've done...My dream of being a Hero..a Huntsman would be over. I understand if you don't want to be around me anymore, I mean what type of person lies to their friends, heck someone like me doesn't even deserve to be here for everything they've done. But that why I covered my eyes for most of my life, I found it a fitting punishment that I don't deserve to see the world with these eyes, but here I am breaking my word.

Ruby remains silent not saying anything. She then let's go, gets up and stands in front of me. When I look towards her, she slaps me across the face. I stand up and hold my hand on my face and look at her.

Y/N: Ow!! What was that for!

Ruby: For being an inconsiderate idiot!

I stare at Ruby confused.

Ruby: I'm not mad at you for what you did in the past, I'm not mad that you lied to me about your mother's death! I'm mad because you, someone who is a kind and caring person is dealing with this all alone, and you've suffered enough from your past! You have friends who are worried about you and want to get to know you, but if you don't talk to any of us we can't do anything to help!

Ruby then hugs me burying her head in my chest and holds me close.

Ruby: So please, whenever you feel down just find and talk to us, me, Yang, Blake, Weiss, and everyone from team Jnpr.

I sigh in this bittersweet moment.*Oh Ruby if only I could tell you who I killed that night, who's eyes these are, you'd take everything you just said back, you curse my name and kill me on the spot. But no matter what I cant fail my Moms last dream and now I have another reason.*
