I didn't see the new guy for the rest of the day. I snuck out of the bathroom when the bell rang with my hood over my head. I clipped my bangs back with some of Alex's hair clip things she left in my bag. I hid in plain sight all day.

I'm sure everyone saw what happened this morning. I didn't want to be embarrassed anymore than that so I kept my hair hidden. That's the main thing that gives me away. I guess you could say it's a blessing and a curse. Actually, scratch out the blessing part.

School went slow because I was basically playing ninja or secret spy with the whole student body. I heard my name float around during first and second hour but it faded away by lunch. If I got caught it would be an instant game over. Luckily, I survived. Now I get to sneak away to the grocery store.

Mission accomplished.

I walked to the store and I couldn't stop yawning. I need to get more sleep at night. I put my hood and hair down because I was starting to get stuffy under there. The clips were irritating too. I don't understand how girls can wear those every day.

When I got to the market I got out my list and went down the dairy isle. I got some milk and put it in the cart. My phone beeped and it was a girl from school asking a question about how she knows if a guy likes her or not.

"Who ya textin' pinkie?" I squealed at the new found voice behind me and spun around. Those same Hazel eyes from this morning are yet again looking me over.

"You scared me! And that's none of your business! What's your deal with sneaking up on people!" I said frustratedly.

"Hmn. None of your business." He mocked. My jaw dropped. Oh, okay. I have some nerve too, asshole!

"You.. you're lucky I forgot your name or else I would report you to security for following me!" I said angrily but it only came out in a huff. Why am I such a bean? The guy looked at me strangely.

"You don't know my name? Strange," He took a moment to look at me before continuing. "And I didn't follow you. It's a grocery store. Public place." My face got red. Of course. Why didn't I think of that.

"I only heard about you yesterday and I forgot your name already." I said. "Matter of factly I wouldn't want to learn it again." I picked up a box of yogurt and put it in my basket. I looked down at my list again. Suddenly the piece of paper was snatched out of my hand. I looked up to see the guy looking over it.

"The names Dach. Daniel Dach." He said. I tried to take my list from him but I was too short. He would have to be like 6'2".

"Okay, James Bond, give me my list." I puffed yet again.

"Hmm. Tell me your name and I'll give you back the list." He said. I crossed my arms and gave him that stare. Well, I tried at least. I then felt him ruffle my wavy pink mess I call hair.

"Not gonna say? Oh well then I guess you won't be needing this list anymore." He made a motion to tear the paper and I panicked.

"Uh, uh, it's Caleb!" I sputtered. He stopped his actions and averted his gaze from the paper onto myself.

"Caleb what?" He asked with a smirk. I'd like to slap that smirk right off of his smug face if it wouldn't make a scene.

"Caleb Cupid." I grumbled, snatching my list away from him and walked away with my cart. This mans really gets on my nerves.

"Ha! That explains the pink hair!" He guffawed quite loudly behind me.

"It's natural by the way!"
I shouted back.

"Yeah okay, Pinkie. See ya around." He walked off and I sighed. I know he followed me now because he just left the store without buying anything. Was all he wanted from me my name? How odd.

I continued shopping and soon I was walking home. Today was really tiring and I miss my sweet beloved bed. I can't wait to reunite with it and hope for a better less stressful day tomorrow.
