Peter's POV
"Dude, what the fuck is up with you?" I hissed, annoyed.
"Sorry I'm fucking late you cum fuck. Not everybody can just waltz out of those fucking gates like nobodies business." My new found toy spoke. I rolled my eyes, tipping my head to the side.
"You know why I asked you to meet me here, right?" I asked with a wide cheshire smile.
My fiery headed accomplice looked up from his menu with a lazy frown. His pine green eyes holding something deep that I could only recognize as anger. "You didn't tell me, shit stick."
I chuckled lowly, hardening my gaze. I could visibly see him tense from the sudden shift in mood.
"Listen, Jeremy. I need you to do me a favor."

Caleb's POV
The next day at school was normal. I felt better after yesterday, but I wasn't completely healed. I still felt vulnerable.
Alex hasn't talked to me at all. She looked at me this morning, but she instantly frowned and walked off. It kind of hurt, but I understand now why she's upset. She's been lied to, and I think I missed my chance to tell her the truth. I don't have the courage to go up to her either.
Now, I'm running laps in gym, trying to clear my head from all the events that took place. Coach Parr blew his whistle super loud, indicating we have to meet up.
"Alright, you hellions. We're playing baseball today!" He announced, receiving slight groans from everyone, including myself.
"Quit yer whining!" Coach rolled his eyes. "Either baseball or doge ball. Do you really wanna get hit with those dodge balls we have in there?" Coach threatened, which everyone, including myself, grimaced at the idea.
Those dodgeballs are old, which means they're hurtful. You get hit with one you're likely to go to the nurse after.
"I wanna play with my balls." A guy next to me whispered to his friend, both snickering like it was the funniest thing in the world. I rolled my eyes and then jumped at the sudden whistle noise from Coach.
"Mendez! Three extra laps! Go!" Coach yelled.
"What did I do?!" Assumed Mendez whined.
"Four! Go before I make it eight!"
Mendez groaned, running around the gym once more. His friend snickered.
"You wanna join 'em, Stanley?" Coach questioned. The kid turned around from watching Mendez with a look of shock plastered onto his features.
"N-no sir!"

Thankfully, it's lunch time now. I was starving after Gym. I almost got hit with the ball three times, and that would have hurt a LOT.
I got my regular soda and chips, but this time with a sandwich. I took a seat in my favorite spot and anticipated Alex to come and slide into the one across from me, gawking about the new things coming up, rumors, fan fictions she's read, and other things Alex would enthuse about, but it never happened.
I was forced to face reality again, looking over at the table across from mine to see her sitting right next to Peter and... Jerry? And Jennifer? That's... weird. She looked very uncomfortable, but my spying was cut short when a body slid into the seat in front of me. I blinked, and looked up to see who it was just to discover those same Hazel eyes that I looked so deeply into yesterday.
"Hey shrimp." Daniel smiled, taking a fat bite into his pizza. "You know staring is rude, right?" It took me a second to register what he meant, and then I slapped his arm from across the table.
"I wasn't staring! I was... zoning out." I admitted.
"Riight, whatever Pinkie." Daniel teased.
"Do you not believe me?" I challenged.
"What're you making in your cooking class today?" Daniel questioned, changing the topic.
"Uhmm. A raspberry chiffon pie I think. Why?" I stated, confused.
"Cause I wanna taste it. I really liked that pie you made last time." Daniel said, me receiving a blush from the sudden compliment.
Daniel started talking again, but I zoned him out after drifting my gaze behind him to see Jennifer getting up from her seat, rounding her table coming over to ours.
"Caleb?" Daniel waved a hand in my face. I looked from Jen to him, and then down as Jennifer slid into the seat next to Daniels.
"Do you guys mind if I hang out with you? Those idiots at my table are getting annoying fast." Jen said smoothly, sitting a little too close to Daniel for my comfort, but I didn't say anything. I continued staring down at my drink.
"Oh, I guess not? The table is pretty empty, anyway." Daniel said nonchalantly. I felt kind of annoyed for some reason.
"Oh, Caleb! Here's your journal back." I looked up to see Jennifer holding out my journal. I took it cautiously, and mumbled a quiet thank you.
"Are you okay-" Daniel started, just to be cut off by Jennifer.
"Daniel can you help me with my science homework? I saw how smoothly you worked through the experiment yesterday and I was completely stuck on what to do." She said, sliding her hand onto his forearm. I stared at the contact, feeling a small rising heat in my chest. What... what is this?
"Oh, why can't your partner help?"
"She doesn't understand it either. I already told her that you could help us, so can you? Pretty please?" Daniel looked at me, and I avoided his gaze. I was super uncomfortable.
"Okay then, when do you want to start?"
"How about after sch-" I got up abruptly, cutting off her sentence. I gathered my things and slung my backpack over my shoulders.
"You can start now, i'll give you the whole table to work." I scoffed. My gaze drifted over to Alex as I saw her watching me with a sad frown. I brushed it off and exited the lunch room, throwing away my scraps on the way out.
I found myself in the library. I sighed and pulled out my journal.
But when I opened it and saw the pages, I felt my stomach churn and my blood run cold.
