I look up to see Alex at the door, waving in. I see a familiar mop of hair poking out just above hers, and then the hair turns into a familiar pair of hazel eyes as they turn around.

My heart suddenly lurched when I realized who it was. I stood up frantically when they entered and made my way to the stairs slowly without alerting them. "Caleb, I'm sorry it had to come to this." Alex started slowly. I felt a ping of anger and frustration in my chest; followed by longing and heartache. Tears pricked my eyes. Daniel advanced towards me slowly, but before he could come anywhere close I bolted up the stairs, tripping on a few steps.

"Caleb, wait! I just want to talk,-" Daniel pleaded, but before he could get to the top of the stairs I had already slammed and locked my bedroom door, sliding down the large piece of wood; head in my hands with fists full of hair.

I hear footsteps creep up the stairs and a thud on the other side of my door. He had sat down. I don't hear anymore footsteps, though I hear the faint chatter of Alex and my mom downstairs, through the vent.

"Caleb, are you okay?" Daniel starts softly.

"I don't want to talk to you." I said, sniffling and wiping my flowing tears from my cheek with my sleeve. Daniel sighs.

"I know, but you don't have to talk. Just listen." He's pleading. I stay quiet. I hear him take a shaky breath. "I know I hurt you." I scoff.

"I fucked up. And, sorry is probably the least thing you want to hear from me, but... I need you right now." I hear a paper ruffle on the other side of the door. "I'm not very good at talking about how I feel, so..." He cleared his throat once more before I saw a folded white peace of paper come into my room from under the door. I picked it up and unfolded it.

Dear Pinkie,

I know I haven't been the best or most reliable shoulder to lean on lately. My mind was caught up with other things before, during, and after the game. I didn't bother to even consider your growing concern for me when you saw my signs of struggle. I blew you off, and in the end I hurt you through my own pain. I was selfish. I didn't realize how much I needed you then, and especially now. You're the Persephone to my Hades; without you I am dead inside.

Forgive me,
Daniel.

I couldn't help but stifle a small laugh at the last sentence through my tears. "That's creepy, Daniel." I say, trying to hide my cracked voice.

"What do you mean creepy?" Daniel asks, sounding slightly mortified. I get up, and open the door to see my brown haired boy scrambling to get back on his feet. I stand there with my gaze studying him for a few moments. His face held a guilt ridden expression, as if a boy had just been caught stealing a cookie.

"Hades basically kidnapped Persephone." I elaborated.

"But in the end, they got married because they fell in love." He replied.

"What's your point?" I question warily. Daniel suddenly wrapped his arm around my waist. Our faces were inches apart, and I felt heat cover my features in a deep blush.

"Well" He started lowly, "When Hades first saw Persephone, she immediately stole his heart effortlessly. Therefore, he had to steal hers with much more effort than what she had to put in."

I leaned up ever so slightly, trying to keep down the hormones that raged within me. Honest to god I felt the butterflies in my stomach start to thrash around violently, trying to find an escape. He quickly connected our lips, pulling me even closer to him. Our lips molding against each other, desperately trying to taste another more.

I felt him push me backwards gently, his hands traveling more south than I would have expected, but I'm not complaining. I felt my body land on the bed with a soft thump. Daniels lips soon moved down to my neck, kissing it and suckling down on my sweaty skin like he had been starved. I whimpered in pleasure as a wave of heat traversed through my body.

Daniel suddenly stopped his actions and stared down at me with wide eyes. I was breathing heavily, my mind trying to catch up with the now. I covered my face with my hands when I finally realized what sounds I made at the simplest touch from him.

"Ah! That was so embarrassing!" I cried, trying to hide from the hovering Daniel who was literally right on top of me. I heard him chuckle lowly, voice lathered in excess thickness from our... yeah.

He took one of my hands in his, making me uncover one half of my face. He traced his lips on my palm before resting my hand on the side of his face, cupping it with his own. "I thought you were absolutely beautiful." My face got warm again. I got lost in his Hazel eyes, lust slowly dripping out of them. He sat up, pulling me up with him into yet another sweet kiss.

When he pulled away, he had a giant ass grin tracing his lips.

"Let's go for a walk."
