A/N: (My kitten was trying to eat my laptop. o.o)

I followed the three men towards the main packhouse, the size of the building unnerving me. I was a bit surprised not to see anyone lounging about and wondered where everyone was. This place looked to be abandoned, but I could tell that it wasn't by the fact that some of the curtains moved in the windows.
Every so often, Theodore would look behind him to see if we were following him. Nervousness filled his eyes, and I could tell that that he wanted to take me away from here. He didn't like that I would be meeting his pack, and I couldn't help but wonder why.
"There are some ground rules that we need to discuss," Adam said, causing me to look at him. He didn't look at me, but I could see the tension in his body. He did not like what he was about to say, and I could tell that he thought I would hate him for it. "Women do not fight," he said. "They are not allowed to learn how to fight nor defend themselves."
"That's bul-"
"If women are seen to be learning how to fight, then they are subjected to a lashing," Adam said. He looked at me, giving me a pointed look. "That also goes for cussing."
Shit, I thought, wincing. It was no secret that I had a sailor's mouth, but it was sort of my mother's fault. I had learnt how to cuss from her, and I sure could make a sailor blush. "Why a-"
"You will bow to the Alpha and the Luna and call them Your Majesty," he said, interrupting me. "If you do not do it, then you will be punished."
'No wonder Mom doesn't want to be here,' I linked Tasha. 'Do you know how pissed she will be to find out that no female can learn how to fight.' "I will not call them Your Majesty nor bow to them," I said, causing all three of them to look at me in shock. I pursed my lips and narrowed my eyes, daring them to tell me to do it. "We are equals, and the only person I will bow down to is my un-"
"Do not tell them that you know the King nor call him Uncle," Adam said, interrupting me. "You'll be in deep trouble if you do."
"I wonder what he will say to this if I tell him," I muttered. "I am sure that he would love it."
"I would suggest not telling him what goes on here," he said, his eyes practically begging me to do so. "It would be dangerous."
I narrowed my eyes at him, suspiciously. It seemed to me that he did want me to tell them, and I could tell that that he wanted things to change here. "I am getting mixed signals from you," I commented, causing him to shrug. "What else am I "not" supposed to tell him?"
"Questioning the male species is prohibited," Theodore said. "If they ask you to do something, then you are to do what he says." He shuddered in disgust. "Even if they tell you to take off your clothes."
'Mom would've hated that,' I linked Tasha, causing her to nod. "Is there anything else?"
"When talking about your family, do not mention the fact that you consider multiple people who are "not" your family by blood to be your family members," Theodore added. He glanced at Tasha, apologetically. "That includes-"
"I am going to say that she is my sister," I said, interrupting him. "Trust me, you do not want to see me pissed."
"A female can not interrupt a male when they are talking," Cornelius said, giving me a pointed look. Anger filled his eyes like a volcano about to burst, but I could tell that it was not at me. "A female should be submissive to every male but more importantly to her mate." He did not look at his mate, keeping his gaze trained on me.
I bit back a retort, but I did snort and roll my eyes. I could tell my meaning was clear to the three men. I would not back down. If they wanted me to back down, then they had another thing coming.
"All females must not talk unless spoken to," he added. "They are not allowed to read nor write, and the only thing they should learn is how to be a good housekeeper."
'What is this? The 18th century?' I linked Tasha, causing her to shrug. 'If someone tries to do something that I do not like, please hold me back. I am sure that I will get a couple of "lashings" from them.'
'They won't like it,' Tasha linked back, causing me to nod slowly. 'What will you do?'
"There will be no linking between females," Adam said, probably catching our glazed looks. He scowled, and I could tell that he hated that. "If you need something, then you have to ask a male to link a female or another male."
I bit my lip and shrugged. I didn't say a word, because I knew that that it would not be nice. I did want to fight someone, but I will hold off on it til later.
"A female needs to be accompanied by a male to and from everywhere," Adam added. "The only ones that are not affected by this rule are the Omegas. They are... not treated so great."
Figures, I thought, pursing my lips. Anger surged through my body at the thought of people hurting Omegas, but I knew that I couldn't do anything yet. I had to pick and choose my battles and hope that Cornelius would be willing to change. I had to stop this before it was too late.
"Women can not carry any weapons at all. They are not allowed to wear jeans or sweats or anything of that nature. They are only allowed to wear skirts and dresses. Men have to wear suits."
"Also, women are not allowed to shift into their wolf forms," Theodore piped up. He scowled. "The men consider the female population weak. It will be hard to change people's mind."
I bit back a retrot, knowing that that it was not the right time. I could tell that they were wanting keep wearing the jeans and shirts they were wearing, but I could tell that they would not be able to. They wanted things to change, but I could tell that they didn't know how to set their ideas into place.
"Are there any questions or comments?" Adam asked. He gestured towards a double door that lead to the house. "Because, we are here."
I bit back a sigh and shrugged. "Just that that this is going to be a fun time," I said. "And, I apologize in advance the rules that I do in fact breaking."
