"Aren't you nervous?" Tasha asked for the millionth time as we were on our way to London. She fiddled in her seat and looked around, her gray eyes wide with fear. "Wolves aren't meant to be in the air," she whispered softly that if I wasn't a Werewolf nor next to her, then I would have missed it. "Neither are Werewolves."
I shrugged working on the puzzle that I had been working on, trying to defeat Grandpa Fernos's time. "And yet, here we are," I muttered, my stomach tumbling as we caught some turbulence.
Tasha grabbed my arm tightly, and I was sure that she would've broken it if I had been human. "How much longer?" she asked, her eyes wide.
"We just started the flight," I replied. "So about seven and half hours." I pursed my lips as I did the puzzle, trying to figure out how to do it. Some puzzles took me a short amount of time, and others, like this one took me a while.
Tasha groaned and closed her eyes, her face paling. "Why couldn't we just transport?" she asked, softly. "We know a witch, a demon, a fairy, and your mother could have done it with her fire power."
"Our mother," I reminded her. I finished the puzzle and lifted it up to show the demon that was on the flight with us, causing him to curse. I smirked, knowing that I had beaten Grandpa Fernos's time, even though I was sure we had been close on it. "And, she can't really use her powers while she is pregnant," I replied, putting the puzzle back into my bag.
"And the others..?"
"I think they, the pack, had asked Mom for then not to use their powers for transport," I replied. "They aren't as used to the ties of the different species as our pack is."
Tasha hesitated but nodded her head. "I think I am going to try and sleep the rest of the way there. Wake me up when we land?"
I nodded my head and let Tasha lay her head on my shoulder. I laid my head on hers and stared at the back of the seat in front of me.
My heart ached with homesickness, but I knew that Tasha needed me. I knew that I was going to have to survive without seeing my twin and my other siblings.
I had to, even though I knew that it was going to be tough.

"Do you think that they will like me?" Tasha asked as we were walking to the baggage claim. She chewed her lip and looked around nervously. She brushed her shoulder up against mine, and I could tell that she was wanting some comfort from e.
"Probably," I replied. "They might be confused about your hair, but that might be it."
Tasha moved a hand through her black and blue hair and pursed her lips in disgust. "I don't give a fuck," she said, rolling her eyes.
I gave her a look, causing her to look down. "Even if they don't, you still have a family with us."
She offered me a small smile and cleared her throat. She looked around and took a deep breath. "What if they don't like it that I waited so long?" she asked.
I pulled her to a quiet spot and stopped. "Tasha, they would be fine with it," I said, studying her. "Mom had been in contact with them, and they sort of know what had happened to you."
Tasha hesitated but nodded. "Now, who is alive?" she asked.
"Your uncles, aunts, grandfather, grandmother, some cousins, and great-grandmother," I replied, reciting what Mom had told me. "Those are the people that are at the pack." I took her hand and pulled her to the baggage claim. "So, you sound like you have a big family yourself."
"Not as big as yours," she muttered, causing me to nod. "There are going to be some that don't like me," she added, causing me to shrug. "Then again, I don't get along with some of y- our siblings," she said, after I gave her the stink eye.
"You have been with our family since you were six. I think it is safe to say that you are one of us." I looked forward. "Besides, family isn't always about blood related. That's why I call Vulcan "Grandpa Vulcan", much to his dislike."
"If that is the case, then why don't you call Andrei "Uncle Andrei"," she asked.
I wrinkled my nose in disgust, my heart breaking at the sound of his name, and I couldn't help but wonder as to when that would stop. "Because, he is younger than me," I replied. "I call Percy "Uncle Percy", but that is because he is old like Mom."
Tasha nodded her head. "How is it that you found your mate in Andrei before he was eighteen?" she asked, thoughtfully, causing me to flinch back in surprise. She furrowed her brows and looked at me, probably confused as to why I had flinched back. "It's not really a secret. I mean, he had been looking at you with guilt or love."
My heart skipped a beat. "Really?" I asked, trying to keep the excitement out of my voice. I cleared my throat. "Uhh.. I mean... really?"
"Ya," she replied. "I thought you and him would have been making babies yesterday. I know that Willa and Keagan did it."
I looked down and cleared my throat, again. "He... uh... he rejected me." I took a deep breath. "He rejected me yesterday night, which is why I left the party early."
