Kylo's P.O.V.

I reach out one hand and grab the blasters' shots with the force. "HUX, WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO COMMAND THAT ORDER?"

"Um, nobody." He says looking at me scared to death. I walk closer to him and choke him with my other hand. "Only I will command an order like that. Do I have to remind you of your place!? You are no longer a General!"

He struggles to nod and I let him go. He lays on the ground rubbing his throat. I concentrate on the blaster shots that are pointed at Rey. I angle them so they're towards the sky and not at her. I let go and they go off towards the sky. I look back at Rey. She's just staring at me. After a second of staring at each other in shock for different reasons, I walk to her with everybody's eyes following me. I stand 10 feet in front of her. "What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I could ask you the same thing."

I realize that everybody is watching us and it's dead silent.

"You made a poor choice coming here." I say.

"You made a poor choice coming here in the first place." I have a feeling she's not talking about the base.

I look at her with no expression, hiding my real feelings. "You know what I have to do now."

"Yes, but I won't fight back. I'll fight them, but not you."

I take a deep breath and grab her arm and pull the lightsaber out of her hand. As soon as I grab it, I sense the power coming from it. "It's different." I say to myself. I ignite the saber and the blade is red. She looks disappointed. I look at her confused. "What did you do?"

"I switched the power source."

I narrow my eyes at her slightly. "A red and a blue one?"

"No, it's all the same. Just different for certain people."

"A crystal like that doesn't exist."

"That's because it's not a crystal."

I look at her confused, but I decide to end the conversation. I don't want everybody looking at me, especially with her.

With my hand still holding onto her arm, I start to pull her towards a ship. She obviously knows a lot more than me about the Jedi and their power, and she only discovered her abilities a little over a year ago. I can't help but feel jealous, but I also admire her in a way. We get to the ship and I set her down in the seat across from DJ.

"You," she says to DJ, "Why are you here? What did you do?"

"IIIIII made a deal... again."

"It was you! You're the hacker!" She gets up from her seat, ready to punch him but my arm goes out in front of her chest and I push her back down into her seat.

"Rey. Don't." I say looking down at her as she sits deeper in the seat. She stays silent.

I walk over to the pilot, who's waiting for a command. "Take us to the destroyer."

The pilot nods and gets ready to lift off. "Also make sure that Audrey gets there too." The pilot nods again and calls for another ship through the radio. I go back to where DJ and Rey are. There's so much tension that it's quiet for the whole ride.

When we get to the star destroyer I immediately grab her arm so she doesn't try to escape. I let DJ go onto another ship so he can go back to his regular life.
