Rey's P.O.V.

Three months later...

I still can't believe Finn is getting married before me. I don't even know if Ben wants to get married. Then again, we have been together for nine months, but it feels longer than that. We haven't talked about it once. For Finn and Rose, it has been a long three months of planning. Rose asked me to be her maid of honor, I said yes, but Finn asked Ben to be his best man. I'm thrilled, but I thought he was surely going to ask Poe. Maybe it was because of me, but who knows?

The padawans are great. Their studies are also doing well. Teal seems to be the strongest of the group, but they are all doing great.

I lay in bed with my face towards the ceiling of our cabin. Ben is sleeping next to me, his body facing me. I turn to have my body face him. I study each striking feature on his face. His dark, long eyelashes. His big, but attractive nose, and his lips, oh, those lips. I would kiss them all day if he'd let me.

I lean in and kiss him because I just can't help myself. He doesn't open his eyes, but he puts his arm around my waist and pulls me closer to him so our foreheads are touching and I can feel his breath against my lips. I close my eyes and a moment later I feel his lips go against mine. I open my eyes back open and see his staring right back at me. He smiles and I smile back. "Good morning." I say.

"Morning." He says as he rolls on to his back lazily. I put my hand on his chest. "I don't wanna get up." I complain.

"Me neither, but we have to."

"I know."

He starts to laugh randomly.

"What's so funny?" I ask.

"I feel like we have this conversation every morning."

"Because we do." I laugh as I swing my legs over the edge of the bed. I get up and walk over to the dresser, which is right across from our bed. It's not that big, but just big enough so it can fit our clothes even though we don't have many clothes as it is. I get dressed at the same time as Ben does. I'm wearing a grey outfit.

"I think grey is your color." I hear Ben say behind me.

"Maybe, but I wear it so much. I don't wear a lot of white."

"Yeah, the last time I saw you in white, was when Finn asked Rose to marry him. It's been a while since then, but it feels like it just happened."

"I know. Time is flying by."

He stays silent and says nothing else. For some reason, I sense tension, but not in a bad way. It just feels like we don't know where to go from here. Well, I do. But does he? I wait for him to say something, but instead, he just puts his hand out for me and I take it. We leave our cabin and go to the base to eat breakfast.

When we get there our friends are all sitting at our usual table. We walk over and see Poe and Finn are talking about something like they're hiding something. Rose and Audrey aren't there. "Hey guys, where is Rose and Audrey?"

They immediately create distance between them as soon as they hear a word come out of my mouth. "Oh, Rey. They just went to the bathroom. They'll be back in a second." I squint my eyes at them as I sit down. Ben puts a hand on my shoulder, making me look away from them. "I'll be right back, I'm gonna get our food." I nod and turn my focus back to Finn and Poe.
