Rey's P.O.V.

"Yes." He says under his breath. My heart is beating so fast. I finally got something out of him. I smile at the thought of him coming back with me, especially now since it's become more of a possibility. "I care about you, too." I look at his hands sitting in his lap. He's not wearing his gloves. I think of the time we touched hands. He might have lied about everything else back then, but that part was real. I've never felt so connected with anyone until that moment. I'm glad that Snoke breached our minds or else I probably wouldn't be here right now. I probably wouldn't believe that there is any light left in him. I reach my hand out until it covers his. I don't see a vision or anything. Just him. He looks at our hands and then at me. He looks shocked but also relieved and compassionate. I don't feel scared at all. I look down at his lips and wonder... I feel content and safe, even more than last time and this time there's nobody to interrupt us, or so I thought. I hear a knock on the door. I close my eyes and sigh in annoyance. Ben takes his hand away from mine, making my hand feel cold. For a moment I feel lonely. Ben opens the door and Hux appears in the door way. "What do you want?" Ben asks him.

"Sir, there's a situation."

"What situation?"

Hux looks at me with a raised eyebrow. I glare at him and then he looks back at Ben. "I think we should talk about this somewhere else."

"Fine." He looks back at me for a second.

I'll be right back, he says inside my head. I look at him confused and then I realize he said that in my head. With our connection, I'm not surprised we can do that.

I know, I reply to him with a slight smile. Hux and him leave and close the door behind them.

I sit at the table waiting for him to come back. I wonder what the situation is. After a minute I hear the door knob turn and the door opens. "Well that was fast-" My heart drops. "Finn?"

"Rey!"

I get up as he comes running over to me. He puts his arms around me and we share a hug. As much as I'm glad to see him, I kinda feel disappointed. We break apart. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

I shake my head. "No, I'm fine. What are you doing here?"

"Rescuing you of course. And here," he says as he hands me a blaster. I take it from his hand. "Oh, and this." He hands me my lightsaber. "Where did you find this?"

"I was looking for a place to hide and I hid literally a room with just your lightsaber in it, nothing else. Little bit weird, but whatever."

I look down at my lightsaber. What was Ren doing with my lightsaber?

"Okay, lets go." He says gesturing towards the door. I hesitate, thinking about Ben, but I need to see my friends again and if I don't leave now, I might not get another chance so I nod and Finn and I leave the room. We walk down a corridor and a bunch of questions pop into my head. "How did you get here?"

"The Millennium."

"You found it?"

"Yeah, and I can't believe you forgot fuel."

"Hey!" I hear a stormtrooper yell behind us and we both turn around to see two stormtroopers. We blast them at the same time and continue walking.

"Well, I wasn't thinking about that at that moment."

"Obviously."

I scoff and in one swift move Finn takes his arm and pushes me up against wall as he shushes me. We're at the end of the corridor and theres only the main part of the ship, with all the TIE fighters and the walkers, ahead of us. I look in confusion at Finn next to me as we're both against the wall. "There's so many. I don't know how we're gonna sneak past them." Finn says as he shakes his head.

"Then we don't." I say as I hold my blaster up.

"Rey! Don't!"

But by the time he says that I have already shot one of the stormtroopers. Many red shots fire at us. Finn and I take cover behind some metal boxes that were fortunately there.

"Seriously? You couldn't wait until I came up with a plan?"

"We would be here hours."

"Thanks."

"Yep. And how did you know where I was?"

"Did you really think Rose was gonna keep your secret for long?"

I roll my eyes. "Should have known. Oh, how is everything with you two?"

"We're great. Thanks for asking."

Then out of no where a green blast comes really close to my head. I duck immediately. "Yeah, anytime."

In no time all the stormtroopers are down and leaves a free path to the Falcon. Finn and I start running towards the Falcon where all the TIE fighters are but a new group of troopers start shooting at us. As we get closer to the ship, the ship door opens and we run into the ship. It immediately lifts off the ground and gets ready to jump into light speed. Finn and I run to control panel and see Poe piloting. I look through the window and down below, I see Kylo yelling at the ship. But it seems like he's yelling at everything. I feel a sadness go through all of my body. I wish I could have brought him with me. I blink and he's gone. We have jumped into light speed.

I stare into the bluish white streaks around the ship and then I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head and I see Poe looking down at me. "You okay? You look like you wanna go back."

"No. I just miss everyone and glad that I can finally come back."

"I am, too and so would Leia."

"Leia? Is she okay?"

"We got news yesterday that she's sick, but hopefully she'll get better soon."

"I know she will."

He smiles at me and sits in the pilot seat. I go back to getting lost in my thoughts as I look at the stars.

Did I make the right choice? Maybe I should have stayed. I was so close to getting him to turn. I look down at my hands, and realize so much can change in 20 minutes. Or more like 5. And now I can't go to Leia and say I've brought her son back to her. I missed my chance to bring him back. I've missed it more than once. I close my eyes and a tear streams down my face and hits the palm of my hand. I haven't felt this sad since my parents ditched me so they could get drunk and forget about me. Except this time, I'm doing the ditching.
