The week carried on and I didn't speak to Adelaide again and she didn't speak to me either. She would still smile at me in class though, and I would just smile back, but that'd be it.

On Fridays we had gym class, but I forgot to bring my sports bag so I had to sit on the bleachers outside the field and watch the rest of the guys play soccer. Same thing happened to Josh, who came to sit down next to me.

"Hi, Colin", he said cheerfully.

"It's Calum", I corrected him.

"Right, sorry. Want a cigarette?" He offered me one but I shook my head.

"I'm pretty sure you can't smoke at school, much less during gym class", I commented and he shrugged. I didn't give a shit if he smoked or not but his presence was already annoying me.

"Yeah, but who cares, nobody's watching me", he laughed. "So, how do you know Addy?"

Addy? She had such a beautiful name and he nicknamed her Addy?

"Uh, well", I digged in my brain for something believable to say but I found nothing. "I don't really remember, it was a long time ago", I lied.

"She's really nice, isn't she?" I nodded. "And God, she's just so good in bed. She does all these -"

"Excuse me?" I snarled. Seriously?

He laughed and patted my back. "Relax, kid, I'm just kidding", he went on. "We've been together for two months now, she still needs some practice".

Two months? They'd been together for two months, and we had sex, what? Two months and a fucking week ago? I felt the urge to throw up imagining all kinds of things, and I certainly didn't want to talk to him anymore.

"I think I need to go", I muttered and stoop up.

"See ya, kid", Josh said. He was a year older than me, and apparently that meant he could call me kid.

I walked through the field and grabbed Luke's arm, dragging him with me to the side of the dressing rooms.

"What's wrong?" Luke asked, his breathing jumpy due to all the running.

"Josh. That's what's wrong", I grunted.

"You mean Adelaide's boyfriend?" I nodded and he looked confused. "I thought you said you didn't care about any of that".

"I was wrong, okay! I'm fucking pissed about it", I groaned loudly.

"Wow, okay. Calm down", Luke said grabbing me by both sides. "Did he say anything?"

"He said too much! That's the problem." I whined. "He was just talking about how good she is in bed and how she does I don't know what the fuck he was saying but -"

"Is it true?" Luke smirked.

"LUKE!" I groaned again.

"Okay, sorry, sorry." He said quietly. "What are you gonna do about it?"

"I don't know." I mumbled shaking my head. "What am I supposed to do? Cry? Punch him?"

"Aren't you gonna tell her?" Luke questioned.

"You think she would believe me?" I questioned back.

"I don't know. Maybe," he shrugged.

"I'll do something, you go back to class" I said.

He nodded and jogged back to the field. I just stood there for a few minutes not knowing what to do

I didn't want to assume anything, I slept with her when we'd known each other for a few hours so I couldn't really judge her or him. But still, it was different, because there was something between us that made it seem right at the time, or we wouldn't have done it, and we both knew it, at least I knew it. And knowing that she slept with Josh after such a short time - apparently plenty of times - made me want to puke.
