"Calum," my mom whispered. "Calum, wake up".

I groaned hiding my face under a pillow. She sighed and started shaking the bed.

"There's someone here for you", she said.

"Who the hell comes this early on a Saturday?" I mumbled through the pillow.

"First of all, it's noon, and second, it's a girl so I think you should get up", she giggled.

I stayed still for a few seconds, a girl? I don't know any girls in this city, except for like the lady from the grocery store and Adelaide, who couldn't possibly be here. I whined and slowly got out of bed, I grabbed a pair of sweatpants from the floor, not even bothering to look for a shirt.

I stumbled down the stairs rubbing my eyes with my hands.

"Hi", Adelaide was standing in the middle of my living room and I felt extremely exposed.

"W-What are you doing here?" I asked confused. "I mean, hi", I added quickly.

"I, uh, I came to give you your phone back", she said awkwardly. She eyed me from head to toe, making me feel vulnerable.

"Oh, right. I forgot", she handed it to me and I let it fall on a couch.

"So", she said.

"So," I repeated nodding.

"This is a little awkward", she chuckled.

"It is, yeah", I nodded making us both laugh quietly.

"Are you doing anything today?" She asked putting her hands on her pockets.

"I'm probably just staying in bed watching movies", I laughed.

She looked down, then up and then back at me. "Would you, uh, would you mind if I joined you?" A sheepish smile on her face. "I don't have any plans either".

"Wouldn't Josh get mad?" I asked confused.

"I don't think so, you told him that we met a long time ago and apparently he trusts you since then", she chuckled. "Besides, he's staying at his granmother's for the weekend".

I thought about it for a moment, what was the worst thing that could happen? Maybe it'd be a little awkward but other than that, it'd be okay if she stayed. We'd watch some movies, probably order pizza, maybe talk a little and then she'd go home.

"Okay", I nodded. "Guess it's a good idea".

She grinned. "Okay, then, please put on a shirt", she chuckled.

"Why? Is it disturbing you?" I joked.

"Just shut up and put on a shirt, would you?" She rolled her eyes.

"You're afraid we might end up like the first time we were alone", I shook my head with a disapproving look and she groaned, throwing a pillow from the couch at me, but I could see a smile forming on her face.

I ended up putting on a shirt, and then we ordered pizza. When the delivery guy came I went downstairs and she waited for me in my room, I was making my way up the stairs when my mom grabbed me by the shirt.

"So?" She smiled.

"So what?" I asked confused.

"Is that like your girlfriend or something?" She giggled.

"No, she's dating someone else", I snorted.

"Oh", my mom said. "All's fair in love and war", she stated. "I guess you get what I'm trying to say".
