"Stop it!"
"I don't think so!"
"You're acting like a child, let me go!"
"My sweet Hermione, you do realise that the more you try to run away from me, the stronger my desire to catch you grows, right?"
Giggling, she wrapped her arms around his body, laying her flustered face on his heaving chest, "I'm scared" she finally spoke, trying her hardest to hide her tears, tightening her grip.
Severus looked down at the witch, his eyes glowing in a way he never thought possible. He rose his hands and let his calloused fingers stroke her long caramel locks, "of what my love? Voldemort will never get to you, I promise. I will always protect you, you are mine remember? And what is precious to me will never get hurt."
"That's not what I'm scared about Severus" she sighed, slowly removing herself from him, "every morning I flinch at the idea that all of this is just a dream. Us. I miss you, every second of every day. I can't sleep, afraid that the moment I let the night consume me, when I wake up, all of this will be forgotten."
"Hermione" he spoke in nearly a whisper, taking her hand in his, bringing her delicate fingers to his lips and kissing them gently. "You are a dream come true. At first, it was all a game, yet my heart grew attached to your presence in a way I couldn't phantom feasible. I tried to resist it, the love, the passion, the desire I felt for you. After all, my life's decision made everything far more complicated." As he went on, he walked closer to her until his forehead was resting on hers, "But loving you was like an antidote, your kisses were my salvation, your touch my escape. I realised that no matter how hard I tried to fight it, my soul needed you. This isn't a dream Hermione, this is real, and I vow to spend the rest of my life showing you how strong our love is, unstoppable."
It had been a hard week for the two, trying their best to avoid the other, yet unable to contain their racing heart from reaching to the other. Severus had asked her to pretend they didn't know each other, afraid someone would discover their secret relationship. Yet all he did was cause her pain. Hermione feared that what she felt for him was only a mere illusion. He had tried to explain to her that his years of being a spy made him more cautious, but she didn't want to hear it.
He then spent the rest of the week searching for her, trying to get her attention, yet she would only ignore him further, ripping his heart in two. But Severus is a determined man, and he wasn't ready to risk their love due to a misunderstanding or a fracing mistake on his part. Which is why, when he caught glims of her figure walking towards the library - alone - he waited for the opportune time to catch her, lifting her up in his arms and run away with her towards his dungeons, hidden from malevolent eyes.
"Forgive me Hermione, but please understand, I beg of you. I don't trust Voldemort or his minions. I know better than anyone how twisted they are and I don't want you to get caught up in the middle of this insantity. I was young, obsessed with power and the Dark Arts. If I had known that I would have an angel deliver me from my torment, I would have never played with fire."
Love is a powerful thing, isn't it? Especially when it can save, revive a lost soul, yet what would happen when the love vanished, and all is left is a lonely soul, frantically searching for its better half?
"What are you trying to say, Severus?" She asked, her eyes beaming with happy tears, "please, tell me. I need to hear it."
He smiled, his lips curling as he grazed hers, "I'm taking back what's rightfully mine."
"And what is it, Mr Snape?"
A wink was enough to answer her question, yet before she could devour his luscious lips, he placed a gentle finger to stop her in her track, before whispering to her ear, "you."
"Ms Granger? No this is impossible! How hard must have been that hit to damage that insufferable head of yours? You have lost your mind," growled in outraged Severus, looking frustrated, "I should ask the whole castle to search for your saneness."
Rolling her eyes, Hermione winked at him, his face growing paler by the second, "even though it vanished, mine is strong enough to beat for two."
Frowning, Severus pushed her out of the classroom, "how many demented voices are there in that head of yours?" He asked, taping on her skull, "if you keep up acting like this, the only person you'll flash your thong to will be Lockhart!"
"I'm not sure I understand Sir," she smirked, "did you see my thong?"
He stood silent, unable to grasp how thick-witted he was to let such a slip up reach his lips.
"Of course not," he managed to scoff, hoping she would let him go, "it is a British expression, yet you're too young to understand! It was created and ended during my generation, now walk!"
"I swear, it's a new-age expression professor!" Hermione pleaded, hoping he would forget about her comment and let her go, "you wouldn't understand it!"
"Are you calling me stupid Ms Granger?"
"Are you calling me stupid Professor Snape?"
"Of course not!"
"Ignorant is more likely!"
"So you're telling me that 'I'll flash my thong if you keep pushing me away' is an expression?" Laughed Severus, standing up, strolling towards his pray.
"You weren't supposed to hear that!" She yells, realising that she couldn't control her tongue; it was as if anything that crossed her mind she would speak it out loud.
"But I did Ms Granger," he leaned against the closest desk, "now tell me what's eating your mind, I can see in the way your eyes are burning that you wish to ask me something. Do it!"
"Did you like it?"
"Did you like it?"
Stopping in his track, Snape turned around, "I beg your pardon?"
"My thong Sir," she purred before walking past him, mumbling a wind-spell, creating a hurried blast rushing past her skirt, lifting it upwards, exposing her plump bottom.
"Show it to me and I'll tell you if I like it or not," cooed Severus, pulling the girl towards his body, lifting her up and sitting her on the desk he was previously leaning against. "Now you're stuck, Ms Granger."
Professor Snape gulped, as his student left him alone in the corridors, his trousers becoming tighter. His hand instinctively came down to cup his erection, growling towards the sight that stood before him a few seconds ago.
"No! This can't be happening! What on Salazar's greezy balls is this witch doing to me!"
