Something wet repeatedly dragged across my face, waking me from my comfortable sleep. I groggily swatted at it, refusing to move and muttering incoherently. As soon as I hit something furry, a whimper escaped it. I shot up and stared infront of me, the pouting form of Little Mirthal appearing. '' O dear, I'm so sorry Mir! Are you okay? '' I cautiously reached my hand out and scratched behind his ears, the little creature growling in delight. I snorted and simultaneously shook my head. '' Gods, as long as you have your cuddles, of course you are fine. What was I thinking... '' I babbled on in amusement, standing up. I lifted my arms above my head and stretched, allowing a small yawn to escape me as I eyed the sky. It was dark, dark enough to be near curfew. '' Nhg.. '' I missed lunch and dinner and my body graciously reminded me of that. My hands were shaking just a tad, and my stomach was not only growling, but also starting to hurt. After all, it has been empty for a few days now. Mirthal flapped its wings and landed on my shoulder, encouraging me to walk back to the castle by nipping my ear. '' I know, I know.. '' I let out an audible sigh as I dragged myself towards the castle grounds, slowly entering through the big doors. I hadn't forgotten about my ridiculous little outburst in Snape's classroom only hours before, and it was this exact memory that made me want to disappear. I had no idea how to face him again. Maybe I can just avoid him? Pretend I do not exist? I snorted at my last thought, allowing an amused grin to form on my face as I walked through the hallways. Yes, Snape would surely pretend I did not exsist. So that task was given already. I suddenly froze, my green eyes staring intently at the hallway before me. There stood Snape, smacking both Ron and Harry on the back of their heads as he snapped at them. He is propably deducting points... As soon as my mind and body started working again, I frowned. I had to get out of here, quickly. It would be a matter of seconds before the Professor came this way and saw me. Merlin's beard, I can only imagine the horrendous anger the man has towards me. Too late. Mr Gloom & Doom himself had spotted me, and was slowly but surely making his way towards me. I pressed my eyes shut for a moment and took a deep breath. I'm dead. '' Miss Potter. '' That dark voice of him drawled out, standing still infront of me. I gathered the courage and opened my eyes, craning my neck to look up at him. God, I wish I was taller. '' Yes, Professor? '' I replied meekly, shifting my weight to my other foot. I was a complete and utter, nervous wreck. '' Pray do tell, Potter, where your presence was during lunch and dinner? '' He questioned me, his lips a thin, agitated line. That was what this was about? My lack of proper food? I sighed in relieve, regaining my courage to be cheeky. '' I'm afraid that my eating habits are nothing you should even remotely meddle with, Sir. '' I countered, straightening my shoulders. I was not in the mood to be told about food. Especially from someone that loathed me. '' As Head of Slytherin House it is my duty, Miss Potter, to make sure all my students are healthy. '' He sneered, unamused by my cheek. I groaned, raising my hands and doing a little pirouette. '' See? I am abnormally healthy, if I say so myself. '' I took a moment to regain my balance, a bit dizzy. Woah. This lack of food was heavier then I thought, but I refused to admit defeat to Snape. He noticed my off-balance footing and arched a brow. '' When was the last time you ate? '' I furrowed my eyebrows. Good question, Gloomy. When was the last time I ate? '' Two days before the Sorting, Professor. '' I reluctantly admitted, shuffling my feet. Snape's expression darkened, his eyes narrowing. '' That means you ate four days ago, Potter. This is unacceptable. '' I groaned, angrily pushing a stray red hair back behind my ear. '' Listen, Professor. I honestly feel fine. Now may I please return to my Dormitory? '' I was getting agitated and I knew Snape knew. He took a step to the side and let me through. I forced myself to smile at him and nod once, quickly walking down the hallway towards the Common Room. '' Oh and Miss Potter? '' He called after me. I froze, reluctantly, but did not turn around. He took this as his que to continue on. '' Every meal time, you shall report to my office and serve it with me for seven days. As detention, for all your cheek and lack of presence in classes today. You may go now. '' He waved me off and walked away, his cape as usually, billowing behind him. I scoffed, feeling my face heat up in anger. I was seething. How dare he? My food was my business. And I would make pretty sure he knew that. I stomped to my room and fell on my bed face-first, not bothering to undress. I screamed profanities in my pillow, the sounds muffled enough to not wake anyone up. God, I hate the old git.

[Sorry for the short chapter, people! But I need this filler for the next part. The detentions. *Wiggles brows*]
