Roommates [Double B]

Our friends arrive between 7 and 8 PM. We eat so much that our stomachs hurt. We lay around the living room, Junhoe on the couch with Jinhwan on his lap like a sleepy baby, Chanwoo, Donghyuk, Yunhyeong, Mino, Taehyun and Seunghoon on the floor laying on each other legs or stomachs, Jiwon and I on the other end of the couch, he's laying on my chest and my arms are around his waist. Our apartment is definitely too small for so many people. We talk about the end of the semester and how tiring everything was. We can finally relax and drink some beers with no worries. I mean, everyone can drink, except Jiwon, because he's still taking medication. Everyone makes fun of me because I wouldn't let Jiwon drink, saying I look like his mother. I bury my head on his messy hair, holding him tighter and closer to me.
- Hanbin, you're holding Jiwon like he's your favorite teddy bear and someone tried stealing him.
Everyone laughs loudly and I give Junhoe an annoyed glance.
- Bin, am I your Winnie the Pooh?
- No, you're my bunny.
Everyone makes vomiting noises and boo us, but he smiles up at me, showing his crooked bunny teeth that I adore, and snuggles closer to my chest, so I don't mind what the others are saying.
- What the fuck happened to you two and why do you look like a fucking married couple?
I look at Jiwon and he has both of his brows raised and a look on his face that says are you telling them or not? For a few seconds I debate if I should tell them. They're my friends, we're not the only gay couple here, so I'm sure they would accept us. But I'm not that confident with that part of me yet so I don't feel comfortable talking about it. I take a deep breath. It's now or never.
- We're officially dating now.
When I finish saying it everyone sits up, including Jinhwan, that was legit about to start drooling on his half-asleep state, all traces of sleepiness now gone. They stare at us with surprise faced and no one says anything for a few seconds. The first one to break the silence was, obviously, Mino. He points both of his hands at us and screams:
- I KNEW IT!!! I FUCKING KNEW IT!! YOU NEVER FOOLED ME KIM HANBIN!
- Wow, chill dude wtf.
- Yeah, bro, calm down.
- What do you mean I never fooled you?
- You obviously had a thing for Jiwon since the day you met!
- I did not!! This is really new!
- You think you fooled someone when you smiled like a freaking lunatic every time someone mentioned Jiwon's name back when we were freshmen? You were like Jiwon is so cool, he's so nice, we have so much in commum, he looks really good, Jiwon this, Jiwon that, I wish I was more like him, I wish we could be friends, I wish he would fucking kiss me!!
- I NEVER SAID THAT!!
- Ok, the kissing thing you never mentioned but you were so obvious!! You nearly screamed when he asked for your number so you could work together on an assignment.
- Fuck off, what about him? I'm sure I wasn't the only one acting like that.
- Sure, but I already knew Jiwon used to have a boyfriend so that wasn't new. He was ridiculously into you though, he kept staring at you and I warned him to stop it because it was hella creepy and it would just scare you away.
- Awww, you used to stare at me?
- Shut up, it wasn't like that I just happened to look at you a lot because you sitted in front of me.
I smile at him and brush his hair lightly.
Jinhwan interrupts us to say:
- You two make a really great couple. We can go on a double date whenever you want!
We laugh at his excitement and thank him for the offer.
