Chapter 25: Lies

Chapter 25: Lies

Lhaisa's POV

"Para mahanap natin sina Marion at Fritz, maghiwa-hiwalay tayo." Ang sabi ni Tito Albert. "That's right we can set off by pairs!" ang reply ni Shibee. "No we can't leave all of us, what will happen to our belongings here?" sabi ko. "Tama si Lhaisa. Shibee at Pocholo, mas mabuti pa't kayo ang manatili dito sa camp. Vince, sumaka ka kina Ivann at Kurt. Lhaisa kayong dalawa ni Kier at sasamahan ko ang tita Tonette niyo sa paghahanap. We can do this together."

Napatingin ako kay Kier and he looked back at me. Though alam ok ko na I am supposed to be worrying about my friend –ex friend na si Marion, may naramndaman akong kakaiba nung nagtinginan kami ni Kier. I know I've never been in a relationship before but this is my chance to be with someone again na alam kong mapapasaakin. Ni yakap ni Tita Tonette si Shibee at ako at tapos ay nag simula kaming maglakad para maghanap. Napalingon ako kina Shibee at Pocholo at kitang kita ko na abalang abala na sila sa pag i-impake sa aming mga kagamitan. Alam ko hindi ko dapat 'to isipin kasi mas dapat naming isipin ang paghahanap kay Marion pero mas nangingibabaw ang pagtingin ko kay Kier.

"You seemed nervous Lhaisa, wag kang mag-aalala mahahahap natin si Marion at Fritz, mahahanap natin ang kaibigan mo." sabi pa nito habang naglalakad kami at tumitingin sa paligid baka may bakas kina Marion at Fritz kaming makikita. "What are we looking for exactly?" bigla kong tanong dahil napansin kong nakatitig si Kier sa mga bagay bagay na hindi ko alam kung ano "anything Lhaisa, kahit ano na magagamit natin sa paghahanap" ang sabi lang nito sa akin ni hindi tinangal ang kanyang mga mata sa dinadaanan namin. "Eh kung tawagin nalang kaya natin sila? That will be a better option" I sound reasonable, thank you. Ang sabi ko sa aking sarili dahil sa tingin ko yun ang nakabubuti. Naiinis na ako sa torture treatment na ipinapakita sa akin ni Kier kaya sumigaw ako ng malakas. "MARIOOONNN!" ng biglang may narinig kaming nakakatakot na reply at kaya namay ay ikinadapa ko. "Mag ingat ka Lhaisa!" sigaw nito. Agad akong inilapitan ni Kier at tinulungan sa aking pagdapa "sabi ko naman sayo eh, mag-ingat ka Lhaisa." I can't take it. I immediately did it. I gave Kier a kiss.

"Lhaisa?" kitang kita ko ang pagka taka sa mukha ni Kier nung hinalikan ko siya. "I like you Kier" simula ko. "Lhaisa, naiintindihan kita pero now is not the time for us to do this... Oo maganda ka at mabuti karing kapatid which is what's best about you pero we need to take care first sa paghahanap kina Marion at Fritz" I got disappointed sa sinabi niya. "I don't believe you. Your eyes says that you have feelings for her!" Yes you are a gentleman and a very kind one pero kailangan ko nang sabihin ang nararamdaman ko sayo. "It's true... Oo I had feelings for Marion pero alam ko deep down inside of her, she has feelings for somebody else. I hope you understand Lhaisa, but what ever happens I will still remain faithful kahit na she's in love with somebody else. Patawarin mo ako Lhaisa if I can't return your love back" Well you are a Fool Kier Villuaneva. "Okay naiintindihan ko, I will stop my feelings for you Kier" I am such a Liar. And a stupid one "Salamat Lhaisa." No don't thank me yet Kier. Hindi pa ako tapos, but I will make sure than one day you will be mine.

Albert's POV

"Do you know that I'm still mad at you?" ang sabi ko kay Tonette. She just nodded. "Bakit di mo sinabi sa akin that you had another daughter?" It sucks, she still hasn't opened her heart to me just yet. She just kept silent. I do respect her for that pero I just can't stand it like this, I have to start my job as her future husband. Sigh "Help me understand... Can you tell me what happened to your other daughter?" at first she couldn't think of what to say but has started to open up. 

"W-We were in a cruiship, me, my two daughters and my husband. We were so happy back then. Pero I just learned that my husband had another woman so we fought, and she saw us. I still remember that terrified face of her and she was just 5 years old. She ran and we tried to stop her, but-but" Tonette started to cry but I can't comfort her just yet, I just waited and listened. "She fell from the ship and ship men searched for her. She can't swim and days after, they told us she's dead because they couldn't find her body. I disagreed of course, I know as a mother she is still alive. I did everything I could up until now, waiting... which is why I choose this location as our camp site cause this is the closest place where we lost her." 

Alam ko na it will take great courage to share things like this, a sad truth from a past. But I looked at her with much-more admiration. "Hindi madali ang nangyare sayo mahal ko, salamat dahil you share this to me, I truly appreciate it, but just to let you know, I'm here and I will be ready to help you." I then gave Tonette a passionate kiss of assurance. 

Tonette's POV

It's 7:48 PM when we received a call from Vince. "Bakit anong nangyare?" tanong ko kay Albert. "They found Marion" Marion, my daughter is safe. "We have to go back I have to see Marion, Albert!" I was so excited to see my daughter back after all the worries I was glad that Marion was found.

When we arrive, we found her taking to her friends and when they know na nandito na kami, to my horror it was not Marion I saw but has Marion's face.

No, it can't be. It is not her, it's not Marion, it's Marionne!
