At the gate leaving Castelia City far up North is where Fang and Richard are waiting for you. They say the truth in the desert N and Alex wait. They warn you thst they're stronger than you are so not to go digging for a battle. They step out of the way without another word. You can battle them if you want. They have the same Pokémon as they had before just lower level to accommodate with the new progression in then game's story.
In the desert, right off the bat, you can see N and Alex walking back in from the desert. Alex is holding a Sandile. There was a Ya ask floating around N. They see you and Alex greets you happily like there was no bad blood. N also greets you happily.
Ah! Hello trainer! It's been a while since I've seen you in Amity Square! How are your pokemon?
I don't see the same Pokemon he/she had before. Did you switch them out? Or...
A tripledot to convey your own speech. They both are taken aback, Just like the girls back in Lavender town.
B-but Oneesan wouldn't!
Alexa wouldn't stoop so low. That's as bad, no, worse than what we did as Plasma. Alex, this is your big sister. Why would she do such a thing?
Oneesan wouldn't! She doesn't steal other people's Pokémon, she wouldn't! She'd never!
Alex and N looked panicked. N walked up to you and took a moment to examine your new Pokémon. Alex stands by him with the Sandile and Yamask still near him happily. Alex wasn't wearing his black hoodie, instead he wore a niceness purple long sleeved shirt that mostly grunts wear with a little pendant to match Ns. But it was a sphere, not a cube.
Alex walks off in shock and n follows him. You have the choice of following Alex and getting a few more imside allies or letting him be to Ben further brainwashed by Alexa. Just two more battles the conquer in the end. But if you do follow him a large chunk of plot is in place. If not you will skip a lot of explanation for the story and just talk to Bianca some more as a filler.
When you do follow Alex and N they are in the middle of the dessert and Alex is huddled to himself. N was trying his best to comfort him but since he wasn't used to human interaction it was difficult. You are forced into a first person cutscene.
You walk up to Alex and sit down next to him. If you're a girl you rub his back before he brings you into a hug like a teddyursa Bear. If you're a guy you drake your arm over his shoulder beforehand he hugs you. N watches and has Alex's hand in his own while he cries.
Oneesan...why? Why why why why why? You never hurt anyone... you'd never steal someone's friends... why why why?
As Alex sobbed you and N hugged him. The cutscene fades to black. You are shown still with Alex and N. Alex stand still bakc uo bringing you both with him. He sniffs and thanks You. He picks Sandile back up and Yamask follows him as he walks away from you And N. N turns to you with some dialouge.
Alex is a kind soul, like that Betsy girl. He just wants his big sister to be happy. But his big sister is doing terrible things. I don't think I can support his sister, but I need Tom try snd be there for Alex. I already failed once at being a 'friend', I won't fail again.
N walks away and follows Alex out of the Desert. You are now allowed to explore Unova again and the Unova-exclusive Mega Stones are scattered about. There are several sidequests in Unova. You are not allowed to leave the region, however. It is like you're locked in.
You have the Bianca and Striaton Brothers Level grinding battles. You also can find Iris in the dragon village and battle her team for a level ten Dratini. Iris has a level thirty Axew, a level twenty five emolga, a level thirty one Dragonite, and a level twenty nine Excadrill.
The next plotpoint is in the Unova underground. On your way back to Nimbassa city you are ambushed by Darla, Cynthia, and Mariah. They shove you into the battle subway and the only way out is to complete it. A perfect level grinding experience for you.
Each car has the difficulty increase. The first car is for level fives and the levels increase by three each car. There are three trainers per car. At car number seven you are Tom challenge the subway bosses in a double battle. Their Pokemon don't increase by five from the previous car, but by ten. Their Pokemon are at level thirty eight or higher. Emmet uses his Archeops, Gauvantula, And Elektross. Ingo uses his KlinkKlank, Chandelure, And Garboder. If you lose any time on the battle subway you black out and restart the subway from the begining.
Once you defeat Emmet and Ingo they heal your team Andy the door at the end of the car opens, allowing you to get into the station and resurface in Nimbassa city. You can talk to both Ingo and Emmet.
Ingo asks you to please come again and it's lonely for them. If you try and speak to him the second time he'll ask you if you've met Alexa. If you answer no he hasn't nothing else to say. If you say yes he'll give you a few words of caution.
Beware her. She was our only loss after a long time. She never came back, even though she said she would. Most challengers do that. But Alexa is stronger than you can imagine. She wiped out me and emmet in a double battle using one Pokémon. I'd suggest working hard and trisngin your pokemon hard if you want to surpass her. The battle subway is a great way to do just that.
Meanwhile if you talk to Emmet the first time he will say that the battle was so much fun And he can't wait to see you again. The second time you talk to Emmet he asks you if you have a Joltik. If you answer yes he will smile and a tiny cutscene will play of you and Emmet becoming friends and playing a game of stacking Joltik. Then it will just land you back in place and you will earn a favor from Emmet. If you say no he will look saddened, then he'll say okay and smile. If you talk to Emmet a third time he offers a battle, since he had so much fun. You can change the rules from a double battle with him and Ingo, a single battle, a triple battle, or a rotation battle. Either way with every battle Emmet's team grows by three levels, like the train. His team is Gauvantula, Durant, Elektross, Archeops, Gothitelle, And Dragonite. You also have an option of doing the same with Ingo. Ingo's Team is Haxorus, KlinkKlank, Crustle, Chandelure, Garboder, And Excadrill. Both Subway bosses have all Pokémon starting at level forty.
When you exit the Subway Station and go back above ground in Unova you see Alexa and Alex. If you comforted Alex he will be arguing with his sister. If you didn't he will just be brainwashed by her and instantly he will battle you. You are forced to win this battle with Alex if you didn't preform the sidequest.
If you did preform the sidequest, however, N will show up and Alex will talk to your other side. He will be shown wearing a pure white shirt underneath his unzipped hoodie and not his Team Nirch shirt. If this happens Alexa will flee.
Either way you end up standing there alone afterwards. After the battle with Alex, if you need to partake in it, he leaves with his sister. If not, after Alexa flees N suggests you three hits the Ferris wheel and the boys go to meet you there.
There are no side quests at the moment as you need to head To the Ferris wheel.
