One day Tommy came over. He asked me to come outside and I did. He took me to Jonathan's side of the house. Tommy put me up against the fence and kissed me. He grabbed my hand and told me that he loved me. I told him that I loved him back.

About four days earlier, Tommy had asked for me to come outside. It was late. His older friends were outside. Tommy asked me for seventy-five cents. One of his friends told Tommy that I looked like somebody's family. I guess they weren't people to be messed with because Tommy got nervous and asked me if I was related to the people they were talking about. I told him no. I didn't even know who they were talking about.

I gave the money to Tommy and the other guys left. Tommy and I sat on the porch. He grabbed my thigh and kissed me on the lips. He stood up and took my hands. Tommy pulled me up and took me to the back of the apartment. Daddyman came out of nowhere.

"Hey Tommy!" he said.

"What's up?" Tommy said back.

"You wanna make out?" Tommy asked me. I shrugged my shoulders, unsure of what to say.

"Have you ever made out with anybody?" he asked me.

"Nope." I replied.

"Aw. I'm going to fix that." he said. Then, he kissed me.

He pushed me up against the building and grabbed my waist. I put my hands on his shoulders. Jonathan came out of his house.

"Hey." he said. Tommy stopped kissing me and rolled his eyes at Jonathan.

"Damn, what do y'all want?" Tommy asked.

Jonathan and Daddyman looked at each other.

"Nothing." they both said in unison.

"Well why are y'all here then?" Tommy asked. They shrugged their shoulders.

I could tell that Tommy was getting irritated because he kept trying to bribe them to make them leave. He finally gave them his phone to listen to music on.

"You can listen to music and play games, but don't go through my pictures." That made me wonder what was in his photo gallery.

There was an old car in the back. Tommy sat me on top of there and kissed me. I closed my eyes. Tommy put his hand on my knee and slowly slid it up. Farther and farther up. He reached the zipper of my pants. I stopped kissing him and got down.

"No." I said.

He looked disappointed. I felt bad, but I wasn't ready for all of that. There was an alley behind my house. There were also these steps that led to the backyard of Ladasha's house. We sat on those steps. Daddyman and Jonathan followed. They sat on the second step from the top. Tommy and sat closer to the bottom. Altogether there was about six steps.

Tommy kissed me. I felt sparks every time he kissed me. I felt alive. I felt like no one else existed, but him and I.

"Your lips are going to fall off." Daddyman said.

"Who?" Tommy asked.

"You." Daddyman replied.

"From her?" Tommy asked. Daddyman didn't answer as if he was debating whether or not he should answer.

"From her?" Tommy asked again.

"No. From all the stuff you do." Daddyman man said.

"Aw." Tommy replied.

It was dark outside and it sounded like my mom was calling me.

"I think my mom is calling me." I said.

Everyone got quiet. Tommy told one of them to go check. Jonathan went. After Jonathan left, someone walked through the alley. He started talking to Tommy. I could tell Tommy wasn't really trying to talk because he was just saying yes or no. Finally, the guy left.

Tommy dropped his phone. I was nice and told him that I would get it. I reached down and grabbed it. As I picked it up, a car drove down the alley. I handed the phone to Tommy and I got up.

"Where you going?" he asked.

"To the house." I responded. Then, I started walking towards the house.

"Wait." Tommy said. I stopped and turned around.
