Chapter 5 - True Love

So, here I am. Hesitating. I mean I think I've always loved David since the moment I saw him. I can't help but get a feeling that if I go to that room, everything will change. I'm not good when it comes to change. That's why I have my own daily routine.

After I started walking toward where David should be, I got really nervous to the point of being really sweaty. I didn't like it so I went to my room to think things through better before my curiosity kills me.

I wonder what him and my brother talked about. I know I'm going to have to face David at some point because I don't even have school anymore (which I'm grateful for). After spring break, school will go by rather quickly, hopefully.

I'm just going to stop being a little punk because I have a feeling what they talked about is urgent. So, that's when I get up to leave and have a talk with David. When I get there, I contemplate for a few seconds in front of the door before knocking.

I hear noises then a few seconds later the door swings open. I am greeted with a very delicious sight of David with no shirt on. His 8-pack is on full display with his jeans hung dangerously low on his hips.

Ohh my.... This man is scrumptious.

When I hear a throat clear, I automatically close my dropped jaw and walk into his room. When we get in, I awkwardly clear my throat and ask quietly, "Can you put on a shirt?". I wouldn't be able to focus so I am happy when he does.

"So, what did you and Ronnie talk about in his room?" I ask hesitantly.

"You." He says. That's when I direct my eyes toward him to see him staring at me intensely.

"What about me?" I ask quietly. I automatically hope it isn't anything bad.

"Everything. The first moment I fell in love with you when I was 13. I was a little boy but I knew a beautiful girl when I see one. I fell in love with your eyes. Your beauty. I asked your brother can I have you because I need you, Bria. I want to be able to hug you and love you and be with you. I want you to be mine and me to be yours. If only you will take me Bria. Please tell me you feel the same." He ends with a pleading voice. Now I understand why he got so mad. He got so emotional. He loved me. That's when I came to a realization and that realization brought me to tears fast. He fell in love with me at first sight too? Ohh my gosh. I never expected this in a million years.

"Ohh my gosh David. I feel the exact same way. When I looked into yours eyes, we had this magnetic pull. It was so strong, our connection. Please tell me this isn't a joke and you mean all this." I end with a begging tone. This feels like a dream. Trust me, I had plenty of these before.

"Bria, I mean it. I never meant something so much in my life. I felt that pull too, Beautiful. Now, will you take me as yours?" He asks me after lifting my chin and staring deeply into my eyes. All I see is sincerity. I blew a relieved breath. He meant it.

"Of course. But I want to take stuff slow." I say softly. He nods and pulls me in for a hug. Why does it feel so good to be in his arms. It's the best feeling in the world. Ahhh.

"We can do whatever you want. As long as I have you, that's all that matters." David whispered. Wait...

"Why were you and my brother laughing and hugging after that? I thought he would take it horribly...." I trailed off.

"Actually, he felt guilty he was the wall between us to get us together. He asked me were we still best buds and of course I said yes. He is a really good friend and brother. I think you should talk to him also to remove his guilt. " He says. I nod in agreement. We pull away and look into each others eyes and smile for a bit. For a while, we just watched television and talked. David held me for almost the entire time. I am enjoying this.

It was now around 1:00pm. David and I are going downstairs to have some lunch. Food attracts my brothers so hopefully I can talk to them then.

We go downstairs hand and hand. For lunch I make salad and grilled cheese sandwiches. I immediately hear feet stomping down the stairs that most definitely belong to my brothers when I'm done. I walk to David and take his hand in mine. I ignore the shocks and tingles, waiting for my brothers to see us.

After they get all their food together on a plate and sit down, they finally glance at us. Their eyes immediately go to our intertwined fingers.

Ty chuckles. "Finally David grew some balls and talked to my sister. Way to go bro." We all look at him wide eyed and surprised. "What? It's fucking obvious they both love each other. BRI BRI eye fucks him all the time and David steals longing glances at her all the time." He yells then laughs.

David looks at me with a smile. "Yeah baby? You don't have to picture it, you can have the real deal." I look at him wide eyed then quickly shake my head indicating a no. He then burst out laughing.

"Ty you need to shut up sometimes." I mutter under my breath. This only causes Ronnie to join the laughter. I roll my eyes. "Anyway guys, I just wanted to make sure you guys are okay with me and David together. And if you feel any guilt about keeping us apart stop because it is no one but our own faults for being too scared to do it." I say. David gives my hand a squeeze and smiles at me. Ty and Ronnie hold up a thumb indicating it's ok. I shake my head and laugh. My brothers are insane. We finish eating and chat for a bit too. The whole time me and David steal loving glances at each other. Mmm.... I can get use to this. But nothing ever stays the same for too long.
