Chapter 1 - Save Me

"LIL BRI BRI WAKE UP!", Byron screamed. I woke up groaning. I'm a morning person but not on Mondays at all. I prefer Thursdays. Thursday is always my lucky day when nice things happen to me. Sometimes Fridays.

I got up to my walk in closet getting my grey vans with a matching grey blouse and some cut out blue jeans. I went into the shower and used my Japanese Cherry Blossom set to get ready. I took a 20 minute shower, put on the matching lotion sent, brushed my teeth, got dressed, brushed my hair, and put on some eyeliner and mascara.

Today was March 19th and it was cheerleading season. I had cheerleading practice after school. We are practicing for championships. At Pembridge Intermediate, our cheerleading squad has won championships 4 years in a row. I will do anything to make that record 5 in a row.

Spring Break was starting Thursday but I would still have to go to school for cheerleading. My best friend Amber was going to pick me up today. We have a schedule where we switch it up for who drives.

Amber was the only person I hung out with besides Byron and Tyron (sometimes). She was known as 'the school slut'. To be honest, I think it's because she wants to be loved. She doesn't get much attention at home I guess. The only thing I don't like about her is that she is crushing on David. David is my crush, I don't like the idea of sharing him. Also, I think my brother has a crush on her because sometimes I would catch him staring at her, but whatever. I hope he doesn't act on it because I don't want him to get hurt.

After I finished getting ready, I headed downstairs to make my breakfast. My breakfast consist of pancakes, eggs and sausages. I knew my brothers were gonna come take some so I made some extra. That was my daily routine. They always do that. I don't know what they would do without me.

As soon as I finished, my brothers came down pushing and screaming. They made a mad dash to the kitchen and took some food. My brothers are always acting like animals when food is around.

"Thanks sis!", They said loudly in unison. All I did was yawn and roll my eyes.

While I was eating, David comes and takes some of my food. As soon as I heard him, I turned to stare at him. He looked really good. With his light wash jeans hanging low on his narrow hips and his v-neck tight showing off his muscles and I could literally see his 8-pack. His outfit was matched with the new Lebrons that are extremely cute. He looks sooo delicious, I think I would love to----

"Thanks Bria!", David said interrupting my dirty thoughts and ohh my gosh. His voice sounds so sexy. It sends tingles up and down my spine. I wonder does he like my food? Probably.

"N-no p-problem D-D-D-David.", I stuttered quietly. I swear he is the only person that can do that to me. I am usually loud, outspoken, cool and collected. This guy turns me into a stuttering love-struck teenager. Byron noticed before and warned me not to mess with his best friend so I have to stay away from him because I want to be loyal to my brother. He is always loyal to me. Also, that would create massive drama and I am not a drama person. SO, I try my best to avoid it.

"Why are-e-e y-y-you h-here?" ,I asked still stuttering.

"Well, it's my spring break off of college and Byron said its cool that I stay here.", David says nonchalantly.

"C-cool.", I tried to say just as nonchalantly as him but it just didn't work out. I am internally freaking out. Spring Break is like 2 weeks! Why would he just invite him without my consent? I don't know what's going to happen. What if I end up telling him I love him and he doesn't love me back? That would just be awkward. I know damn well that if I don't stay away from him during these two weeks that something is going to happen and it will involve David and I. Which doesn't sound so bad but it does considering I don't want to stab my brother in the back. Damn it. My life is always so complicated.
