Chapter 31 - Birthday Girl Part 1

I woke up to a ringtone and groaned while stuffing my head in a pillow.

What the fuck? I just fell asleep! I screeched in my mind. Ughh, this isn't fair. I pout and look for the source of the noise. When I see my phone lighting up, I quickly check it to make sure nothings wrong.

Received: September 16th 12:00am

From: Davey Baby <3<3<3<3

Message: Happy birthday baby girl. ;)

I face palm as soon as I read the message. I can't believe I forgot today was my birthday. I have been in absolute bliss for the past two months.

I started college a few days ago. I decided to take it online though. I could not stand to sit through classes once again. I'd rather learn in the comfort of my home.

I have been training but butt off and learning pretty quickly. I learned to do all types of crazy shit. David has been training to the bone too. We figure if we work and learn quick, we will finish earlier than expected. Of course were correct because our parents said we are almost done.

I also started college a few days ago. I decided to take it online though. I could not stand to sit through classes once again. I'd rather learn in the comfort of my home.

I shudder at the thought of David's mom. My dad isn't around that much. I don't know why. He's so quiet. Too quiet. I have been getting suspicious of him. I have just been keeping an eye on him when he's around.

Whenever I'm not training, I'm with David.

Speaking of David, when we had that talk about Devon? He forgave me. He still didn't like the idea of a man being with his woman so he stayed grumpy for a bit. But of course after we had sex, he was as good as new. Horny bastard. I wouldn't have him any other way though.

David and I have been getting pretty serious lately. I don't know. I just have this feeling of wanting more. I just can't put my finger exactly on what 'more' is. It leaves me feeling like something is missing, but I can't fucking figure it out.

I take my mind off of it and close my phone. I get a major headache when I try to figure out what 'more' is and I'd rather not have a headache on my special day. I don't feel like texting David back.

I lay back in my bed and try to relax. Key word is try because as soon as I lay back, Ty and Ronnie come bursting and my room clapping and jumping like little girls. They start jumping on my bed while still clapping and singing their own fucked up version of happy birthday.

I groan in annoyance and kick them off my bed. They stop acting like little girls and fall to the bed with an 'oompf'. I chuckle and cuddle in my covers, smiling to myself.

They scream 'happy birthday Bri Bri' in unison making me cringe and shrink more into the covers.

I give them a murderous glare. "Get OUT!" I screech. They know I'm cranky when I don't get any sleep. They hold their hands up in surrender and scurry out.

I grunt aggravated. Then, I lay down gently, sigh and close my eyes. In no time, I'm out like a light.

I wake up happy. I skip all the way to the shower and take a really long shower. By the time I'm ready to go downstairs, it's already 10.

What I didn't notice was a smell. I sniff again and moan in delight. My favorite breakfast. An egg and cheese sandwich with has browns on the side with just enough seasoning. I immediately know it's my mom.
