Chapter 17- Break it Down Brother

"Yes" Byron answered unbothered by the situation. What is wrong with him? He's crazy and who told him all about this crazy shit anyway?

"Byron I don't understand? Why aren't you mad that he is my soul mate or whatever you call it." I mutter in disbelief.

"Bria, I understand. I can't be mad at you or him or your relationship. I can't change anything about it. I do feel guilty for keeping you guys apart and I do apologize for that. I have a soul mate too. I met her but she is not ready for my life because she is not fully matured yet in her emotions." He explains and I hear the longing in his voice when he talks about her and sadness too probably because he wants to be with her but cant. I want to hug him because I know exactly how he feels. I felt that for 1/3 of my life with David.

I get up and hug him. He is my lovely brother. I can't stay mad at him.

"I'm going to call David, All three of us need to talk about this. I will be right back Ronnie." I say quickly then dash upstairs. Instead of discussing this with Byron by myself, I would like David to be there so I would not have to repeat everything to him.

I immediately dial his number and change into a spaghetti strap tank-top and Soffe shorts. I am about to hang up when a tired David picked up. He must have taken a shower and went to bed when he got home.

"I'm sorry if I interr-" I was interrupted though.

"Baby, it's fine. Don't worry. Tell me what's up. What do you need? Are you alright." He fires questions at me worriedly. I shake my head fast but face palm when I remember he can't see me.

"David I'm fine. I just need you to come to my house so me you and Byron can talk about something important." I quickly say, afraid he will say no.

"Are you sure it's important Brianna? I have something important going on tomorrow...." He trails off in a reprimanding tone. What is it that's important that he has to do?

"Yes David. Please hurry and what is important tomorrow?" I ask curiously.

"Nothing baby. I will tell you later. I promise. Let's not talk about this over the phone." He says and my stomach and heart drops. Is he cheating? Of course not, David wouldn't do that but all I can think of is him doing something absolutely absurd. "I'm on my way."

David says breaking my worry.

"Ok" I hang up after that.

Ten minutes later, David walks into the living room and looking around frantically. When his eyes land on me, his eyes swell with relief and so does the heavy breath he lets out. David strides to me with his long legs quickly with worry-filled eyes.

"What's up Bria? What's wrong? Was Ron being a dick again?" He asked me softly and quickly at the same time. It's not that being soul mates is something wrong but it's terrifying and unsettling. I don't know what it means. I just want a normal life but of course the universe doesn't let that happen.

"No I was not being a dick!" Ronnie shouting. I forgot he was hear as soon as David walked his sexy ass in here. Even though he shouted, he still didn't get our attention as David sits behind me on the couch and pulls me to his chest comfortingly. I sigh, just wanting to be with David but I know we have important matters to discuss here an he has to know all of it.

"No David. He has important things to discuss of Davey and I wanted you to know them." I say because Ronnie yelling out didn't satisfy his curiosity one bit.
