Now the last part of coming out, coming out to Brendon.

RyRy: yup!

There we where sat on my floor with the camera in front of us. I hit record on it and sat back down.

"Hi boys, girls, and anyone else otherwise identified. It's me Ryan, and here I have my best friend: Brendon. Say hi Brendon." I said slinging my arm around his shoulder.

"Hi." Brendon said and I smiled knowing he was nervous.

"So, today I'm going to be talking to Brendon. Kinda like a 'story time'. We're just going to be tell stories from our childhood. I mean we've been friends since first grade." I said and looked at Brendon who nodded.

"Oh here's a fun story! One time I forgot my lunch at home in-what third grade? Yeah third grade! And we went dumpster diving because Ryan didn't have enough money to buy me lunch." Brendon said giggling.

Ok Ryan now's the time.

I took and deep breath and smiled squeezing Brendon's shoulder as I had my arm around him.

"I have a story." I said and Ryan turned to look at me. "I-I'm-"

Why is it so much harder to come out to your best friend?

"I'm gay." I said and Brendon's happy smile disappeared.

"Really?" Brendon asked and I felt tears build up.

"Yeah." I said and Brendon jumped towards me hugging me. It was a bone crushing hug. I smiled and hugged him back as we where both on the floor now. He kissed my forehead, then my cheek.

"I'm so happy for you!" Brendon said and I smiled laughing a little.

"I'm glad you're not mad." I said and Brendon raised an eyebrow.

"Why would I be mad? If you like boys who am I to stop you." Brendon said and I smiled.

"Thanks, you're such a good friend."
