I curled my lips up in discus. Aunt May, how do I begin to describe her?

When Brendon was ten years old she came to town. She took Brendon shopping and when Brendon asked if they could go into Hot Topic she said-and I quote- "if you go into that store you'll burn in hell with the rest of those gays."

Brendon has never gone in Hot Topic in his life.

Fast forward two years and when he went to visit her in Europe she showed him around. That's when Brendon got his first crush, which was on a girl named: Spence. However when he actually asked Aunt May if he could go ask Spence out she said-and I quote- "don't talk to him, he's a freak. His parents are crazy enough to let him think he's a girl. I don't want you thinking like that. Come come, lets go get some tea."

Brendon never talked to her.

Seven months later. Aunt May sent Brendon a 'gift'. In this 'gift' of hers it consisted of a note and a country music album. I can't remember the name of the album but the letter has been burned into both Brendon and I's brains.

Dear Brendon,
Your cousin: Mis' is so much more prettier than you, and she said I shouldn't write you this but now that you're going through puberty I can tell you aren't going to be that good looking.

Even is Mis' wasn't pretty she's got the brains which you don't have either.

Brendon didn't answer a question in class for the next year.

When Brendon and I were sixteen he had a sweet sixteen. Aunt May was in town at the time and Brendon's mom wasn't. So she 'planned' the sweet sixteen for him.

When we got home there was a half eaten cake on the table and the half that was left had a nasty message. "Happy im-getting-older-and-uglier-and-soon-I'm-going-to-be-married-then-divorced-just-like-my-sad-excuse-for-a-mother day!"

How did she manage to fit that on the cake? Honestly I don't know.

And then about three months ago he got a text from a unknown number saying.

(Unknown number): I'm coming to town soon!

Of corse it was Aunt May.

This is gonna be hell for weeks.
