Brendon and I held hands as we stood at his front door.
"You sure you want to do this?" I whispered to Brendon. He just nodded as he knocked on his front door.
His mom came to the front door.
"Ryan! I haven't seen you in ages!" His mom pulled me into a hug. "I thought you were gonna be home at six, what's wrong B?" Ms. Urie let us in the house.
Brendon and I walked to his living room. I felt my heart rate pick up.
"Mom can we talk?" Brendon asked pulling on her arm. She smiled and pulled out two chairs at the dinning table.
"Of corse, let me get some tea. Ryan?"
"No thanks Grace." She nodded and put on the boiling water.
"Ok what is it?" Brendon looked to me. I nodded and he took a deep breath.
"Excuse m-me mom. Ryan?" Brendon pulled on my arm and pulled me into the hallway. "Ry I don't k-know if I can do this!" Brendon started to pull on his hair. I took his hands out of his hair and placed them on my hips.
"You can, this is important. To both of us."
"O-ok." And then Brendon pulled me back out.
"Here's your tea B." Ms. Urie put the cup down on the table as Brendon and I sat down soon followed by Ms. Urie who sat in front of us.
"Mom I love you." Brendon started.
"Oh honey did you come all this way to tell me that?" Ms. Urie laughed and placed her hand on the table. Brendon grabbed her hand.
"I'm gay."
