Third Person's POV---
Astrid walked together with Hiccup and smiled while looking around Berk, satisfied with Hiccup's way of lead everything, ''You were always a leader, I knew that you would be a great Chief.'' Astrid said proudly at her boyfriend and he smiled nervous a bit, ''You were always the one that believed on these kind of things.'' Hiccup said giggling nervously but Astrid smiled and kissed his cheek softly then walked away from him, by getting on Stormfly's back and flying away. Hiccup kept watching her until she was out of view and he sighed dreaming a bit, ''Wow... Just don't drool, pal.'' Jack said on his side and with his staff on the shoulder, the boy blinked and got a bit startled by his sudden appear, ''Really? Since when you are here?'' He asked and Jack chuckled and shrugged, ''The enough to see how much lovey dovey you two were.'' Jack made a mock kiss with his lips and Hiccup rolled his eyes at his best friend then walked away and the other followed him.
''So, Chief, how is your romance life doing? Not that I REALLY need to know as I saw.'' Jack started again but Hiccup only sighed and looked at him, ''You don't have anything better to do than keep teasing about my love life?'' The boy crossed his arms and giving Jack a serious face, the white haired looked up thinking, ''Let me think... No.'' The boy smirked and played with his staff while twisting it around but Hiccup shook his head at him, ''I'm sorry, old friend, but I do. And today is going to be a busy day. You can pass here another time if you like.'' The boy said and gave a apology smile then walked away to the hall. The other just huffed bored and looked around, not seeing the twins or Snotlout to hang around, sighing he flew up and started to fly away, ''I can come late...'' He only said and turned around to Berk for a bit but kept flying away.
''Going somewhere?'' He heard a female voice and turned around, seeing Astrid on Stormfly back going his way and soon stopping on his side, ''Uuh... I was going back, Hiccup is too busy to talk to me now.'' Jack said making a bored face while remembering what Hiccup said, Astrid giggled a bit at him and then smiled, ''Well, it's not his fault. He tries his best to make everyone on the village happy and comfortable.'' She said looking down on the village and the boy did the same and a smile appeared on his lips, ''Yeah... Knowing how he is, he wouldn't give up on someone's problem until he solve it.'' He crossed his arms but still holding his staff on hands, Astrid nodded and sighed, ''Yeah... But I know how you feel. Sometimes I want to be alone with him but I can't because of his work and such.'' She said while looking away a bit embarrassed of what she said, ''But... I respect that.'' Astrid turned to him again and smiled softly, Jack nodded looking down and chuckled a bit, ''Well... I was going out but would come back, after all, I am his best friend, that's why I always come here.'' Jack got lost in thought while saying those words.
Astrid looked at him a bit shocked but flew close to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, ''Don't worry, I know you want to look after him... And he knows that too, he just don't want you to take the most of your time with him just to see if he's okay.'' She explained and looked to the sky, ''He knows we get worried about him, but knowing him, he always gets in trouble even when we are looking close at him.'' She said and giggled a bit and Jack did as well, ''Yeah, you are right about that.'' He said and both of them smiled at each other, ''I saw that you look bored.'' Astrid smirked and crossed her arms and Jack only looked up innocently, ''I don't know, was I?'' He smirked as well and the girl rolled her eyes playfully, ''I'm going to take that as a yes.'' She placed her hand on her hips, ''How about, to not make you bored, we make a little race?'' She said and made a confident face to him, Jack's eyes started to shine.
''A race?'' Jack asked twirling his staff around, ''Yeah, me and Stormfly, against you.'' She pat her dragon's head and Stormfly growled happily at it, Jack looked down thinking but smirked, ''Sure! Let's see who is more fast.'' He flew around her and Astrid made a challenge smile towards him, ''Follow me then!'' She flew away and Jack followed her behind. They stopped in a place close to Berk but far away as well, ''The first one to get on the hall wins.'' She pointed to the village and Jack looked the way she gestured and nodded smirking, ''Well, you don't need to say anything, I'M the one that is going to win anyways!'' He crossed his arms confident and Astrid rolled her eyes and punched his arm, ''Don't get confident, because this can be your ruin!'' She said smirking and stratching herself, Jack only rubbed where she punched but smiled looking at her, she was indeed beautiful, 'Hiccup, you little lucky guy...' He thought with himself but blinked and looked away from her.
Both of them got ready to speed up, ''Ready...'' Astrid started and gripped her hand on the settle on Stormfly and Jack on his staff, ''...GO!'' She shouted and both of them started to fly ahead on the same speed, Astrid shouted happily while Jack laughed, both of them loving the strong wind on their faces, the girl smirked and looked at the boy that was concetrate looking front, she made Stormfly get more faster, now she was ahead from Jack, he widened his eyes by her sudden movement, but smirked and went down and sudden appeared in front of her, that she gasped and widened her eyes, ''Hey! Be careful!'' She shouted and Jack only looked back and smirked at her, ''Sorry.~'' He teased her then flewmore faster but Astrid looked at him with a challenge eyes and grabbed his feet, he gasped and Astrid pulled him away by flying ahead, he groaned, ''This is cheating!'' He shouted and she only shrugged, not caring about it.
Jack smirked having an idea then flew towards her and shot ice form his staff, going in front of her and blocking her view she gasped and yelped, ''What the-?!'' Astrid tried to clear the ice out but got distracted by seeing Jack flying by waving at her, ''See you on the hall!'' He shouted and flew ahead, the girl groaned and then was able to take the ice away and flew to his way. When both of them were almost on the hall, Astrid now was on his side again but Jack wasn't paying attention, when they were going to land, something hit Jack that he hit Astrid, making her fall out of Stormfly, both of them shouted surprised, ''Oops!'' They heard Tuffnut voice, but when they landed with eyes closed, Jack opened his eyes and saw that he was on top of Astrid, he widened his eyes surprised, she did the same, their faces really close to each other, their eyes were staring at each other. But they blinked and got up and away from each other, ''Sorry, I-'' He got cut off hearing Astrid shout at the twins and walk to them mad,
But he didn't payed attention, the scene kept replaying on his head.
