This cold and empty feeling soon crept its way through my body. The thought of loosing Aidan, killed me. He was my son. I felt nauseous at the thought of not seeing his little smile everyday, or his laugh. I felt like I was falling, and on my way down I was loosing everything piece by piece. And slowly it was breaking me. The last piece I had left would be taken when Aidan left, and there was nothing I could do about it. Sure I would put up a fight, but if I went against the council I could be killed. Or worse, Aidan could be. When it came to the rules, they were strict.
"Olivia, I'm going home with Hunter. Can I give you the keys to drive home?" Emily asked, while holding her silver car keys in front of me. "Sure," I said giving her a fake smile, and taking the keys. She didn't need to know what's happening, she just got her mate back. She should happy.
I didn't want to be here any longer, so I decided I was going to go pick Aidan up, go home, and relax with him. The parking lot was full of cars, but no people. Everyone was Inside having a fun time. I was looking for Emily's white SUV, surely it was around here somewhere. I finally found it In the third row, behind some large truck.
I started up the engine, turning on the radio, before pulling out of that parking lot, and driving further and further away from my problem; Vincent. As I was driving, it started pouring, making it difficult to see out of the window sometimes. Stray tears slid down my face as I drove to the pack house. I didn't want Aidan to see me like this, but I couldn't help it. Vincent took my innocents, and then my heart. And now, he's taking my baby. The one family member I had left. Of course I had Emily, but she's back with hunter. It'll only be so long till they move in together, create their own little family. So I guess I'll have to buy a little place around here, get a new job, and see Aidan occasionally. Living with me or not, he will be apart of my life. I will make sure of that.
I was close to the pack house, I looked like a mess, but it didn't matter at this point. I'd say it was the rain. My phone started buzzing, I looked down to where I put it. Or thought I put it. But it wasn't there. I realized it was in my purse, so with one hand on the wheel, I used my other one to find my phone. I pulled my still ringing phone out of my purse, before checking the number. Unknown. I clicked the answer button, before placing it up to my ear.
"Hello?" I said. Nothing.
"Hello?" I repeated, a little louder this time. Maybe they hadn't heard me.
"Olivia?" I heard his voice say. Vincent's voice.
"What do you want?" I asked coldly.
"I just wanted to talk to you about what happened tonight. I didn't mean to tell you like that -" I cut him off before he could continue this load of crap.
"Enough. I'm tired of these lame apologies. I get it, you don't want a mate. But don't you think you've done enough damage? Using me for sex, and rejecting me is one thing. But taking my son? I'm glad you rejected me. Because it's clear as day the type of man you are, and I'm not liking it." I said harshly. Meaning every damn work that spewed from my mouth. "It's not like that. I want you and Aidan to move in with me. I want us to be the family we should've been all those years ago." He whispered. Although I couldn't tell if he really meant it, because I couldn't see his face. "You lost that chance long ago." I said before ending the call.
