I woke up to the soft sounds of Aidan's snoring, before attempting some unnatural looking stretch. "What are you doing?" A very confused voice rumbled from on the bed. Aw nuts, I forgot Vincent was here. "I'm stretching," I replied, using a 'duh' tone, which only earned me an eye roll. Eh serves me right i guess. "How was your nap?" He asked, running his fingers through his soft dark brown hair. "It was good I guess," I sighed, before rubbing my eyes. "How's Aidan been doing?" I asked, taking his temperature again, which hadn't changed. "He's been asleep the whole time." Vincent mumbled. I frowned at his response, before getting up to get us some food. We'd all been tucked away for the day, and I was about to die of starvation. "Hey, where are you going?" Vincent asked, quickly. "To get food," I said, slipping through the bedroom door. The pack house was rather quiet, so I carefully tip toed to the kitchen, not wanting to disturb anyone's sleep, although it wasn't that late. I made a bowl of Mac and cheese for Vincent and I, because I never asked if he was hungry or not, so I made an extra anyway. I was pouring a glass of water when I heard someone walk into the kitchen, turning around I saw a wolf. The wolf was growling, bearing his sharp canine teeth. It took long slow strides towards me, until it was right in front of me. It was definitely a larger wolf. Alpha or beta maybe. But all the pack members knew who I was, word got around that their alphas Luna was here pretty fast. Even though we haven't made the announcement yet. So why was this wolf treating me like a trespasser? Panic started to set in, when the wolf didn't back down. He only increased his growls. I shifted into my bigger than average sized wolf, so we were face to face. I growled back, telling him I wasn't backing down. My wolf was dominant when it came to other wolves challenging me. It was the alpha blood in me. The wolf pounced, sinking his teeth into my side, causing me to yelp. I bit him back, near his neck. The wolf whimpered, letting go of me, giving me time to pounce. I had the wolf caged with my large frame, but when I heard another loud growl, I turned my attention from the wolf beneath me, to the one behind me. Big mistake. The wolf underneath me took advantage of this, and snapped at my neck, hard. His teeth sunk deep into my throat, making it difficult to breath. The wolf behind me, ripped the wolf off me, and snapped his neck with his mouth. An excruciating pain was coming from my throat, causing my wolf to whimper. Something definitely wasn't right. I felt cold, and blackness crept up into the corner of my eyes. Right before the cold darkness consumed me, two last thoughts crossed my mind; who saved me? And who attacked me?
