My dad would be furious if he knew I had left, and he'd get someone from the pack to retrieve me the minute I left. So I didn't tell him. I didn't go home. I bought an airline ticket for the first flight I could get and drove to the airport. I was going to Texas. To stay with one of the packs I knew. They promised to keep me a secret from my dad as he would be calling every pack in the nation trying to find his daughter. And then, well I'd get the beating of a lifetime.
I have a lot of money in my savings from work, I was planning on using it for emergencies, and this seemed like the one. If Vincent didn't want me around that's fine, I'd leave and get out of his hair. For now at least.

Vincent's POV
Sex with my mate was incomparable to anyone else I'd ever slept with. Even holding my mate was better than anything I've ever felt. But I didn't want to settle down, I didn't want just one woman. Even if it was my mate. I liked the thrill of breaking their hearts. And although this would've been a complete score, it hurt my wolf to see her sad. She handled it differently than I thought, I didn't expect her to talk back. After Olivia left, I needed someone to take my mind off things. The school was still running, so there'd be someone around here to f**k. And then tomorrow, I'd find a way to get a reaction out of Olivia. I wanted to see her break. Just like the rest of them. Just like I had been, years ago. Even if it hurt my wolf.

Olivias POV
I got to the airport relatively quickly, thank god it wasn't rush hour. Once on the plane, I could finally breath. I sat back and remembered the event that took place 2 short hours ago. A tear rolled down my cheek and I quickly wiped it off, as a young girl who looked around my age sat down next to me. The minute she sat down I knew she was a wolf. And I'm assuming she knew the same as she quickly looked back at me. She had a tear-stained face, along with puffy red eyes. "Are you okay?" I asked. She wiped her damp eyes before meeting my gaze again. "My - my mate, he - he rejected me." She said choking on her own tears. I felt sympathy for her. I mean, I know exactly how she's feeling. "Coincidence. Mine just did the same thing." I said chucking trying to lighten the mood, even though my wolf felt like she got kicked to the ground. "I'm sorry. Sucks don't it. The feeling of your own heart getting stomped on by the one person you'd always been taught would love you. Your own mate." She said with a sad smile. I nodded as tears started making there way back. "I never caught your name. I'm Olivia Grace." I said getting some Kleenex for us. "I'm Emily Benson." She said, gladly taking one of the Kleenex's I offered. We spent the rest of our 4-hour plane ride, laughing, crying and well talking about how our mates were jerks. When our plane landed, we got our luggage and decided to get a coffee together. "So do you have a place to stay while you're in Texas?" I asked taking a sip of my warm much-needed coffee. "Yeah. Actually, I'm staying with a pack Im family friends with. The alpha and my father are good friends. I know his son and daughter too. The Blue-moon pack. What about you?" Emily asked taking a bite of her chocolate chip cookie. "I'm staying there too," I said smiling. Well, at least I have another person I know. Besides the alpha and Luna. "Must be fate," Emily said laughing. We finished our coffee and called an Uber to take us to the pack.

One Month Later
I awoke again running to the washroom and puking my guts out. I knew deep down that there was a chance I was pregnant, but I couldn't take the test. I was too scared. "Olivia. Are you okay?" Emily asked rushing in and inspecting the scene. "I - I think I might be pregnant," I whispered before throwing up again. "I'll go get a test now. I'm sure someone has one around here," Emily said before quickly scurrying off to find the one thing I wanted to prolong. Once I felt like I could leave the bathroom I washed the toilet and myself before changing and anxiously waiting for Emily to return. 10 minutes later she returned panting and handing me the little stick and shooing me into the bathroom to take it. I did my business on the stick, and well waited. "What's gonna happen if I'm pregnant? I can't raise a child by myself. I'm 17." I said anxiously biting my bottom lip. "You're not alone. You have me. And the rest of the pack. Once the child is born, we'll go back to Florida to visit my parents. They love you, and they'd love to help." Emily said smiling and squeezing my hand in reassurance. "I can't place my problems with you and your family," I whispered. Emily knew about my dad, so did her parents. "It's not a problem. Plus my parents love babies. And - and you should probably talk to Vincent," she said whispering the last part, but I heard it loud and clear. "I know. But that's only if I'm pregnant," I said as the timer went off and I slowly reached for the stick. Emily bit her lip in anticipation, and I squinted my eyes scared to see the answer. I looked and I saw two blue lines.
"It's positive."
